Anybody watching Spring Training ball? I caught the end of the Dodgers and the Padres. What I seen was the guys all trying for a roster spot. All those guys were wearing jerseys with numbers in the 50's and 60's  |

I can't watch pre-season of any sport. Just seems to be a waste of time. Always liked the team that went 5-0 in NFL a preseason and 1-15 in the real one.

True, but there is something about spring training I really enjoy. I think it's more of the weather changing than the actual games. I could care less about the scores, it's just a comfort thing. Growing up in Tucson, spring training baseball always brought good vibes with it. LETS GO YANKEES!!! |

A friend of mine texted me last night after Judge got No. 62 and we were talking about records were meant to be broken, with the exception of a couple. Anybody want to put one out there they think will stand up?

Nolan Ryan's 5714 K's and 7 no hitters are safe. That’s 2 more to add to the short list my friend and I came up with on the spur of the moment. We said the 56 game hitting streak, hitting .406 for a season and Ripkin’s Ironman streak were probably safe as well |

I think any season record has a good chance to be broken except the ones set in the 1800s. You'll never see a pitcher with a 60 win season. The ones that won't be broke are the career ones like pitcher wins, hits, and steals.
