What a stud. I'm sure you remember how strong the UA baseball was back in the late 70s/80s. I'm sure you remember Gwynn when he played at San Diego St. A bit before I can remember. I was born in '77. I remember the '86 Cats. Kevin Long, Gar Millay, Chip Hale, Gil Heredia, Steve Strong. They beat FSU in the CWS. That was back in the "six Pac" days, not the Pac10. The Washington and Oregon schools didn't even compete with the southern schools. It was a good time for Wildcat fans. Two years later the Basket Cats earn a trip to KC for the Final Four. Pretty sure the football team was in the middle of a 9 year streak of beating the Scum Devils....all was well in Tucson. |

I wouldn't mind the Bucs winning but they have been pretty inconsistent. As good as Brady was 1st half versus the Packers, he sucked ass the second.

The Indians continued their trend of not paying their good players(Lindor and Carrasco) and trading them away for minor leaguers. Someone said it best they always seem to be trying to build to a point in the future but never going all in. At least they traded them to the Mets and not Red Sox or Yankees.
Other big trade was the Cardinals got Nolan Arendo.

I just seen where the Braves re-signed Ozuna. Freddie Freeman is the beneficiary of that move, just like last year. The Braves have a good nucleus of talent. To me, it’s going to be how good is their bullpen, kinda the way it goes for them most of the time. They have 2 good starters with Fried and Soroka.

Well, the Texans have cut JJ Watt. I wonder where he goes next. I’ve seen that the Packers, the natural choice due to his college days, the Steelers, his brothers already play there, and the Bucs are rumored to be the top 3 choices for him
