Some Christmas upgrades for the DP-12. It's tough to make a double barrel pump shotgun that holds 16 rounds too much more outrageous than it is. I added 3 lasers that activate by pressure switches and shine in a triangle as seen in the movie Predator. I'm also a fan of the movie Tombstone.

Here are a couple of my bigger boom sticks. Top right is a Thomson Center Encore chambered in .454 Casull. It has a 12" barrel with a custom muzzle brake and forend. The Burris 2-6 power scope has a 3 ring mount to keep it from moving when a 360 grain lead bullet takes off. On the left is a 14" .308 pistol barrel the can be switched out on the Encore frame. It has a Bushnell 2-6 and will shoot sub MOA with 155g Nosler J4 Competition bullets that I moly coated myself. The revolver is a Ruger Super Redhawk also in .454 Casull. It has Bushnell red dot and is quite accurate with 300g Hornaday XTP Mag's. The .454 can shoot .45 long colt if you just want to do some plinking. There is a .22 long rifle at the bottom center for a size comparison. I took my 1st deer in Ohio with the Encore and got a buck with the Super Redhawk at 85 yards. The .308 has worked well on ground hogs out to 300-350 yards.  |

Sniper mode on a very accurate pistol allows it to be used to its full potential at distance. A red dot helps get you on target faster than open sights. |

Just got a Franklin Armory BFS Gen 3 trigger. It has a "binary" mode that fires when the trigger is pulled and also when it is released. link to a You Tube video.  |

If you decide you don't want to fire the trigger release shot, the selector switch can be moved to "semi" while still holding the trigger which will cancel the shot. I think this will be a more reliable system compared to a bump fire stock. $389 on Ebay for "almost" full auto fun!  |

Tell me more. Like where do I buy one? I found mine on Ebay. The Franklin Armory website says there is a 4 week wait. I think OpticsPlanet.com has them. If you are not confident in your skills to install it, a gunsmith familiar with AR's should be able to do it in less than 15 minutes of bench time. I installed mine last weekend and it works perfectly. There is a list of safety checks that should be done before you dump your Beta mag through it. It comes with an extra power buffer and trigger spring that may be needed to tune some rifles. I did not need either one. |

I just picked up a night vision rifle scope. It is 3x, titanium body, built in IR with illuminated cross hairs. The picture is clear as long as the eye piece is adjusted for distance. Amazon just dropped the price to $248.50, Sportsman's Guide and Optics Planet are at $419.00! I think this will find a home on my Ruger 10/22.  |

Is that the Sig the Army just ordered to accommodate women that were having problems handling the Beretta? I don't own a 9mm but I read that they are good for "recoil sensitive" shooters.  |

As soon as the 21-rd mags become available, I'm switching to those. Nice! 21 rounds is a good amount of firepower. I think they could use you in Chicago. That city is out of control. The Chicago Tribune reports 101 people shot, 15 fatally, over the Independence Day holiday. In the 12-hour time frame between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, and 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 5, at least 41 people were shot. On Friday night, 19 people were shot, while 23 were shot Saturday. 17 people were shooting victims Sunday through Monday. During last year's three-day Fourth of July weekend, 66 people were shot, four fatally. The total of those killed by gunfire over the 2016 holiday was the lowest in eight years. The last four-day Fourth of July weekend was in 2013, and 74 people were shot, 12 fatally. |
