"get some help". For fuck sake, you don't think this dude has at some point? "Thoughts and prayers".. Really not such a stretch on the livestock comparison. We want to force women to give birth..just like cattle. Gotta stock the empty adoptable baby shelvse. Nobody is forcing women to give birth. FFS...nobody is forcing women to get pregnant. Last I checked Martha had to be willing to spread her legs to get pregnant. Did science change? I'll echo what Patriot said, there is virtually no reason to get pregnant anymore these days given the quality contraceptives and birth control products. Abortion is taking a life....period. Does that mean its going to be eliminated....no it'll just be sent back down to the states where each state's citizens will get a say in the acceptance and restrictions on it. Even RBG said that RvW was bad law and an overreach. Bad laws have been overruled many times before. Imagine if Plessy v. Ferguson was never overturned 58yrs later.

I especially like the 'we' part of 'We want to make women give birth'. He got a mouse in his pocket?

Sorry for the stupid rant. Said a bunch of stuff I shouldn't have.
As for seeing someone. That's not gonna happen. Not gonna pay anybody to talk about my feelings.
I just decided to hell with disabilty. I'm just gonna get a real job and work full time again.

The national rape-related pregnancy rate is 5.0% per rape among victims of reproductive age (aged 12 to 45); among adult women an estimated 32,101 pregnancies result from rape each year.
YEAH! NOBODY is forcing women to get pregnant.
RBG's thoughts..."My criticism of Roe is that it seemed to have stopped the momentum on the side of change,” Ginsburg said
"roe isn’t really about the woman’s choice, is it?” ginsburg said. “it’s about the doctor’s freedom to practice…it wasn’t woman-centered, it was physician-centered.”

I wish I could say things have gotten better, and that I'm finally free of all this, but being as honest as I can afford to be, I took a steep dive in September last year.
I went to see a pherapist about this, but I just ended up speaking about some family issues that had been bothering me moderately instead. I fear I could lose everything if I was completely honest. My friends, my family, any job. It doesn't help I hit the side of my head in April too but my sisters have been trying to convince me to hold off on a visit to the hospital because they'd likely just say that I'm having migraines and send me away. The doctors I've seen up to this point were pretty condescending about that.
And besides, I don't know if I'm ready to go there just to potentially find out there is no physical injury anymore, because then that would mean it's purely stems from all this anxiety.
Out of what I usually do, reading and running probably help me the most to relax, and keep myself distracted. Sometimes I get the notion I might be able to live this down, but then the horrible thoughts come back.
I don't really know why I'm posting this. Just scared I guess.

I would go see a Dr about your head. That kind of thing needs to be addressed and regardless of the outcome, it can give you reassurance that either everything is ok or it finds a potential long range issue that is better dealt with now. I’m no psychologist, Dys and I’m not try to bore you with a long distance diagnosis but it seems to me that finding someone who will listen, give you some solid, honest advice, is going to help you. This may come off as trite, but it’s sincere. Hang in there, keep digging and keep going. You will come out on the other side. You can do this

I did end up going to the hospital, although I don't think they appreciated my concerns enough. They took my blood pressure and blood itself, examined my motor functions etc and told me that everything was okay.
It was probably because I'd not drank enough water but I actually fainted for 2 seconds during the blood test. Funny how that didn't really raise any alarm bells for them. I think the result is the same regardless of my hydration.
This hasn't really given me any peace of mind though, and there isn't much that will anymore. The only choices I feel I have left are to tell my sisters the absolute horrors that are in my head, find out what to do from there, and pester the docs for anti anxiety medication.

Bastards. Meds can alleviate the symptoms and I think you're right to talk about it with your sisters. I hope you can get the help you need.

Nothing major compared to some of you, but lately I find myself missing the old forum, as toxic as it could be
Maybe it’s just nostalgia, or maybe I still can’t believe WG is doing their best to kill the golden goose of WoTC, but I miss the good old days there. We’re coming up quickly on my 10 year anniversary of joining the beta, which is insane to me. Doesn’t feel like it’s been that long, but I guess it has

Doesn’t feel like it’s been that long, but I guess it has I still listen to the old garage theme and think about the low-res textures on my boxy medium mark I when I first started playing. Good times. Such a shame they destroyed the game.
