Nothing like some German firepower The French never get any appreciation. I'll fix that! The Mirage III, my favorite Cold War ear aircraft. And king of the Deltas if you ask me. You'll upset dineen saying that.

I AM The Scouting Authority. Do they have the Ki-46-III or -III Kai or just one of the reconnaissance ones? Still pretty cool either way. Might have to visit Cosford some time, I've never been. Im not sure. All i can find on their website is its a Ki-46 Sorry, I'm a nerd. You should've saw this coming... It's a Ki-46-III Army Type 100 Command Reconnaissance Plane. (I even know the squadron it's from. I love Dinahs man)

Slower than the Me 109, but better in a turning fight. Wish they'd built more...they might have actually had a chance against the Luftwaffe in the early stages of the attack on France. Of course, it is speculated that if there were more of them, Hitler would have commissioned the production of early model Me-262s to combat them...so I guess it's a...good thing France didn't have them?

More fuel, better engine, and the same blistering armament. Also, WT needs these!

I didn't say anything blud, I was just sharing an image of an outstanding French fighter that deserves a lot more respect, it only gets shafted in the history books because France didn't hold out for long against the consistent German blitzkrieg, I really wish we could have seen more of these warbirds And with the earlier 262 thing, I don't think it would make much difference aside from jet engine research being expedited to ridiculous rates to make up for which was to be frank, pretty shitty engines on the Schwalbes. Maybe late war would have been different with 262's roaring over Russia, but not early war.

Shame the guy never zoomed in in the vid but the sound of the Eurojet EJ200 is always superb. You can make out some great manoeuvres though and at some points even see the moisture density form on the wings, oh and car alarms going off lol

Maybe late war would have been different with 262's roaring over Russia, but not early war. Oh, I never said the early Schwalbes would be any good, but it was a Jet. Even having a jet aircraft in 1940 would've changed the face of the war. The Me-262's development would've accelerated tremendously, and by late war, we would've seen variants such as the HG II and HG III, with more research being put into Jet engines to power them. Other nations would've taken notice as well, furthering their development as well, as the early Me-262s would be shot down and reverse engineered. Designs such as the Airacomet and Ouragan might have been in service DURING WWII had that innovation gotten out to the world. The early Me-262s would've sucked, but their impact in the war, and the development of jet fighters from that point on would've been undeniable. Just think...look what happened after the Me-262's debut in 1944. Imagine if the Germans had 3 MORE YEARS to perfect it....*Shudder*

It would have severely bumped up development speed and would have signaled the end of the propeller warbirds much earlier than expected, (side note, didn't the Germans, in our real history storyline, build at least one of the two pronged higher speed 262's?) Another thing to look at is if the Americans never dropped the A-Bombs, and how that could have allowed Japan to build their variations of a Volksjager to combat the USAAF and Navy.
