As the title says, it is worth grinding towards? I've already got the 4202, E-50m, 140 and T62a and wondering if i should add the 48 to the garage.

Yes. Not only is it a pretty good tank in its own right, all the tanks leading up to it are pretty good as well (M3 Lee excluded). The Pershing is one of my favorite tanks in the game. The Knight is the only tank I enjoy more.

HELL YES, this thing is a fucking beast on the move and it has crazy spotting range, along with the fact it's got amazing gun depression of -9 degrees and it has pretty high velocity ammo at 1478 m/s, this is a damn good tank
You should get it Rest, you'll like it, it's only slightly faster than the 4202, but it feels so much better in a lot of situations, and it can pull off stupid bounces due to that crazy egg shaped turret.
Along with the fact the tanks before it are the sex, M26 is just a beast and M46 is probably one of the best medium tanks at tier IX I've ever driven.

If the grind is quite painless (stock Pershing and M46 aside) i'll go for it. The prospect of having a tank with similar playstyle to the 4202 but with HEAT for E-100s, e3s etc is appealing. What's the T20 like?

What's the T20 like? The T20 is a weird little tank. Paper for armor, long reload, but hits hard for a medium. My stats in it were really good if I remember right, it was like no matter what I did, I couldn't die or lose in that tank. It was weird. That's as far as I've gone, I've had the stock pershing in my garage for quite some time now and I haven't brought myself to free xp to a good gun yet.

T20 is the oddity of the line. It's like a Hellcat; no armor, good camo, fast in a straight line, hard hitting 90 mm. The gun can troll you in the accuracy department, but it has plenty of pen for a Tier 7.

T20 is a mean little bastard, it can hit hard, has pretty decent pen for a tier VII medium and really good APCR pen for heavier targets.
While it can't DPM tanks to death, it's charm is being able to surprise reds with alpha punches and running.

I agree about the T20. It is a good tank. It gets some bad press but I think it is from tankers who think you are supposed to trade shots. As has been mentioned, the Pershing is a well rounded tank. It is a very good ridge line fighter. When you get to the 46 Patton, I recommend using free XP to get to the final gun. Once you get the 105 equipped, it has good DPM and gun depression. The 48 is just as Major described.
In short, it is worth the grind

You must. It was my first medium tank - unfortunately (I was a beginner). Now in retrospect I have to say that this is one of the most versatile medium tanks in the game. The difficulty lies in the fact that, unlearn everything you know about the medium tanks. Find the right style of play for this tank and the same for you. This "big" stinker copes with everything in the right hands. For some time I learn anew how to play M48. Good luck!

Also my first tier 10. I had bad experiences in everything on the way to it because I was a total rookie. I went back after some seasoning and repurchased the T-20 and the Pershing as well as bought a Fury when it came out. Love em all. MOEs galore, and nobody will confuse me with a Unicum... Still have the M48 and I have to say I like it just as well as a T-62a, although I don't really say that on the other forum lest I get shouted down lol

What's the T20 like? The T20 is one of my keepers and so is the Pershing. And I will be getting the M26 Patton back when it's on offer next, the only reason I don't have the M48 is because I only buy Tier 10's in the sale. I think you'll really enjoy them, just save a bit of free XP for the stock grinds.

It's a great tank. But it was my second tier 10 tank back when I thought it was a race to tier 10. So my early results with it are bad. However I started playing it again recently and I love it. It's very versatile with great snap shots and gun depression. It's just a jack of all trades, not a super stand out in any one category but overall just great.

Yes, definately. All the tanks in the line are fun and no matter what anyone says the M48 is a beast. Subtle joke there or just coincedence? Sounds like a decent grind and a decent tier 10 (i'm really fond of all rounders) so i'll be re-buying the easy 8 and fixing its stats, tand cracking on with the grind. Thanks for the replies guys :

I don't have enough tier X medium experience to comment on the M48 Patton, but I enjoyed all the tanks leading up to it. It's probably been the most fun line I've done, so far, with the Easy 8(Fury), Pershing and both Patton's being keepers. Just remember to have some free XP to skip the stock Pershing!

What's the T20 like? t20 tought me how to play the cromwell, quick(ish) med with good gun and made of butter, everything i like in a tank... also a much under rated tank i think, a good(ish) player can do a lot of damage before the reds realise the threat. would just like to say i liked the t9 m46, i know it gets bad press but when top tier it plays how i wish the m48 did, or does for some people on here. if the m48 gets buffed like on pc then this will be a must do grind for every med driver.

yeah it is a lard arse. i find the 4202 easyer to get around the map in even tho its a bit slower, its so much more of a ninja you can sneak shortcut and get some spots/potshots on the way.

the fatton is great at being fat. The same thing happens to those that call my M48 Fatton that happens to those that call Wlson Fisk "fat man" in the Daredevil Netflix show.
