Another vote here for grinding out to the Patton. It was my first line I took to X and I don't regret it at all. From the M4 on I kept every tank except the T20. I'm not saying it's a bad tank, I would probably do a lot better in it now than I used to. I just had so many other Tier VII's I couldn't justify it.
At the end of the line though, the M48 is great. It does just about everything I ask of it. It's a great generalist tank.
