Yeah it would have been larger than the B-29 but with about half the bomb load. 48m wingspan Would have had a longer range though, also all the turrets are double 20mm turrets except the tail turret which is quad 20mm lol Japan can't in to high payloads. And quad 20's? what in the fuck, that's glorious. Speaking of quad 20's what I'd love is the Ki-64. Gotta love the contra-rotating props. 2 Engines combined into one assembly.

Yeah right! First flew in 1943. And people say the japs were bad are aircraft. It's setup was like this. 2 20's in the wings and 2 in the nose as well.

Yup and being similar to the Ki-61 in design I imagine it'd fly liek a faster, more powerful, but heavier version of it. And I'm all for that cos I love my Ki-61's.

Yeah, we'll be waiting for a while mate, it took them this long to finally get around to implementing the Pfeil, so we'll see this plane in 2057.

Japan didn't make bad aircraft, they just weren't very good pilots and kept flying them into ships.
I really want to get the Stirling, with its mighty, what was it? 2 metres/second climb rate?

I'm staying away from bombers for a while though as the bomb sights are broken right now. Which is a shame because I actually really enjoy playing bombers.

Oh god yes, what the fuck did they do to the bombsights? It's impossible to hit anything while above 1000 feet. And I needn't tell that doing that is suicidal in a Wellington. Do you want to try diving on a target surrounded by flak in a Wellington, whilst being pursued by two fighters? I only just got out on one engine and then I got picked off on the way back.

Yeah right! I was playing the German wellington around Christmas time when I was getting back into war thunder and was really confused by why my bombs were landing nowhere near where I was dropping them. Apparently it's something to do with the physics of bombs in the air. They now travel further horizontally in relation to your speed. So you can hit stuff still you just have to drop it way earlier than you would normally which means it's anyone's guess if you're actually going to hit what you drop them on.

It's more of a case, that Japan burned through it's elite pilots early on in poor decision making. Planes like the Zero were incredibly disliked by rookie pilots but loved by aces since the extreme sensitivity of it allowed good pilots to completely dominate early American fighters, not really many planes could go toe-to-toe with a Zero until perhaps the Hellcat.

That is actually a cool story, especially the part where the allies dropped off a note of congratulations due to their aerobatics antics And the 5cm 262 is bloody hilarious, but it's firepower is terrible with the stock belts, almost as useless as stock belt .303s, but once you get those air targets, it's all smooth flying from there.

Yeah I've looked at the grinds for tier 5 vehicles and they look pretty awful. Not looking forward to grinding stuff on the Tier 5 ground forces.

War Thunder has an insane difficulty peak when it comes to new parts on tier V, but it's going to be worth it since I'm right on tier V's doorstep in the goose stompers.

Also, gib pls Even if Gaijin have gone full retard with making it's flight model absolutely nowhere near as outstanding as it was in real life, I want it because it looks like a more refined long-nosed Dora Pretty shitty it's not historically accurate, since this was Kurt Tank's magnum opus and was out-fucking-standing in the limited combat it saw.

Yeah the Ta-152 is a properly sweet aircraft.
