I just noticed that the Blenheim Mk IV's landing gear floats of the ground a little in the hangar  GJ Gajin. Seems everything does actually. |

I have no idea what high tier War Thunder is like. The highest I've got is the Beaufighter Mk. X, which I don't actually have in my hangar any more (it got replaced with a Wellington Mk. III). I don't think I'd do very well though. I get like one kill every three games flying a Spitfire Mk. IIb.

There I am, disengaging with a Bf 109 in my Spitfire, and immediately I am set upon by about eight thousand AA guns, who proceed to score several hits, crippling my engine. Now, normally I would have limped back to base, but this is Norway. And in Norway there are no airfields, only carriers, because fuck you. The carriers are out of range, so with my water going up to a hundred and twenty-something degrees, I limp for dry land (because Norway is mostly water). I look around me, as any pilot would for a strip of flat ground to make a pancake landing on. But this is Norway, which is all mountainy, because fuck you. So I head for the flattest bit I can find, which is some kind of uphill track. Naturally my engine conks out on approach and I stall into the ground and lose a wing. Yay.

I love being sniped by it from like 8km away. They continue shooting at you for ages, and if one shot gets close to you then you are basically fucked. Could be worse, AAA used to shoot you through mountains. |

Christ on a bike. The game is broken in a lot of ways but it's fun and the soundtrack is amazing. Who's genius idea was it to use Beethoven's 7th as a game soundtrack? Because whoever it was, they are an amazing person.

Very different to WGs products. Most of the negative reviews and compplainers are just older players moaning about nostalgia and the politics of Gaijin. New players won't even notice what they are on about and most likely wouldn't complain anyway as they know no different. I've played WT on and off for along time and personally none of the issues most people moan about really affect me that greatly if at all. |

Alright thanks guys. I'll dl it and give it a try. It's worthwhile sticking with it for a while I think. The game can really shine in Realistic battles/RB. Especially for ground forces. |

As Mr Japanese Girl man said, a true gem of the game is the RB mode, you can have tons of fun scanning the battlefield with your own eyes attempting to outgun your opponents, really fun too since you can sneak behind enemie easier since there is no marker for enemy tanks. |
