Welcome to the unofficial WoT console forum.
This is a place to talk about all things World of Tanks, real life tanks and other interests inbetween, away from the trolls and confines of the official forum.
While we don't have any set in stone 'rules' there are community guidelines set out by the forum hosters, that we would appreciate if you followed. The guidelines can be found here: www.proboards.com/community-guidelines or in the spoiler below.
Basically, just don't be an ass just to be an ass.
The moderation here won't be as strict as the official forum, but it won't be nonexistent either. Racism, sexism and homophobic comments will not be tolerated. Also overzealous reporting won't be tolerated either, we are grown ups, lets try to act like them.
The moderators will be, other forumers, chosen by you through a poll and will be reviewed regularly to make sure they are not abusing their permissions.
All moderators chosen will start with only basic moderation permissions (editing, moving and locking threads). Once they've been reviewed they can be promoted, if voted by from you guys. Upon promotion they will be given additional permissions, including deleting threads/posts, warning members and possibly banning members. Until forum moderators have been chosen moderation will be undertaken by myself and R35T 1N PEACE.
Unlike the official forum, here you have the ability to self moderate, to an extent. If you make a post in bad taste, that you instantly regret, you can delete it yourself but only up to 5 minutes after making the post. After the 5 minutes you will only have the option to edit it.
This a forum built by forumers for forumers, so it's important to us that your visits to the forum are enjoyable, we would appreciate any and all feedback on your experience here. Also, feel free to post any suggestions for the forum in the relevant section. With your help we can, hopefully, make this forum a very viable alternative to the offical one

Consists of or contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, malicious code or other harmful or destructive content;
Is obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy or pornographic, that may constitute child pornography, or that may solicit personal information from or exploit in a sexual or violent manner anyone under the age of 18;
Depicts excessive violence, contains comments or images that are offensive, abusive, threatening, harassing or menacing, or that incites, encourages or threatens physical harm against another;
Promotes or glorifies racial intolerance, uses hate and/or racist terms, or signifies hate towards any person or group of people;
Advocates the violent overthrow of the government of the United States or other conduct that could constitute a fraud or other criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any applicable local, state, national, or foreign law or regulation;
Glamorizes the use of illegal substances and drugs;
Promotes gambling or casinos;
Promotes the buying, selling, or trading of firearms or weapons;
Violates in any way applicable laws or regulations, including without limitation laws designed to regulate unsolicited email or other electronic advertising, in any jurisdiction where the Website or Services are marketed or provided;
Violates any provision of this Agreement or any other ProBoards agreement or policy;
Has a detrimental effect to the goodwill and good standing of ProBoards or any of its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, consultants, agents, contractors or representatives; or
Is generally offensive or in bad taste, as determined by ProBoards.
