The Great TOG II* Appreciation Thread

HMS Temeraire appreciates the KV-2s slow rof and the usual substandard performance of the drivers whose only thought is big gun go boom

KV-2 needs nerf. In game its ridiculously fast for its size. IRL it went no faster than the TOG because of the size and weight of the turret and because the turret was only just on the hull.

The turret jumped the turret ring locking the turret in place. But how a tank that overweight and top heavy can do the supposed speeds in game. Id love to see a slight nerf of top speeds in game.

Obviously Russian bias, duh.

As the TOG is a tank I've always meant to buy, Should I get One ?

Dare I mention that TOGs are also best in the platoon? What's the saying, a lonely TOG is a sad TOG, but a TOG With many TOG Friends is a very happy TOG.

Ironically, despite that, I played only like 20 Games in the TOG (out of, IIRC, 120+) in a platoon with even one other TOG. I played the remainder of it solo, y'know, like a crazy person.

Before I demounted everything and moved the crew out, my TOG Ran with Vents, Rammer and I believe Optics in place of Binocs. Once my crew had reached 100% on their 1st skill, I moved them out of the TOG And to the AT Line of tanks, forever shelving my TOG.


Before that though, they were trained in Recon (Commander), Snapshot (Gunner), Smooth Ride (Driver), Situational Awareness (Radio Op.) and both Loaders simply had Repairs. This is how I fared in the TOG During my time playing it.



That WR Scares me, considering most of the games were solo. Clearly, the TOG Is overpowered and needs to be nerfed. 

TOG at top tier can be immense on the right battlefield. Ive got a Devastators in mine. Dont get cut off from your team. Dont get caught alone by mediums. And never be spotted by pumpkin chuckers.
