OK, click bait maybe? I don't know. I wanted to share this with everyone here, because you guys are awesome! So here goes... R35T NO MORE and I aren't actually married. What??? I hear you ask? Here's the story... Resticles accidentally refered to me as his wife on the forum before I played tanks. When he realised it had already been there for too long to correct. No problem, he thought, violet isn't on the forum. It doesn't really matter.... I start playing tanks, get on the forum.... Resticles "as far as anyone knows, we're married".... OK, I go along with it because, random people... Didn't realise that we'd end up with a forum full of people that I give a damn about... But we did. We've been together for 13+ years and now, we're finally actually getting married for real. There's no one I'd rather share this occasion with than you guys on this forum. I consider all of you guys as friends so I feel like you should know  There are a few people that already knew this (recently), one of them is coming to our crap wedding, one is hoping to, and one isn't because he is stupid and lives somewhere stupid ( JesterUSMC). For what it's worth, anyone who can make it to Bury in October is invited. Quite frankly, I'd rather spend time with you guys than our 'real friends' that we haven't spoken to in years! I don't like people! š¤£ |

We never intended to 'fool' anyone really, it just kind of came to be. I didn't feel right about it though. On the lead up, and on our wedding day... I wanted to share it with everyone here. I love you guys and I see you all as our friends, so it's important to me to share with you. I'm being cheesy, soppy and silly and now I'm embarrassed š |

They took me ages and then my printer decided not to play ball! I ended up sending them over FB. I've only just woken up, so I misread your comment about the reception too! Now I have to clean coffee off the table/floor.  We would have really liked to have an open bar, but we have a pretty small budget (Ā£1500 that my grandma gave us plus anything we can throw at it inbetween the little ones needing/wanting something). The most important bit of the wedding takes up nearly a third of the budget.....The cake! |

I don't know much about what looks nice or doesn't but to my eyes it looks professionally done. The colour pallet is surprisingly easy on my eye and works really well. The choice of font is easy to read and contrasts well with the background and the spacing and font size while is variable, doesn't look awkward and out of place I don't know what font it is but I do like it and while it's very different and the violet is a different hue, for some reason, being a chocoholic it feels close enough that I now fancy some Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate. Yay for marketing. I'm sorry to say that I don't understand skulls. I'm not used to seeing them associated with weddings or positive things but am curious if the skulls and roses are symbolic of lows and highs experienced through the journey of marriage or in a pairing like that. Maybe the rose represents the love and support and the skull represents the person who needs it, whomever that may be at whatever time, an extension of supporting each other "through thick(roses) and thin(skulls)", hard times(skulls), good times(roses)?. I suspect it's supposed to represent a duality of some sort. I'm just not sure I'm interpreting it correctly. I may be reading way too much into it and it may just be, because it looks cool. While I won't be attending for mostly financial reasons, I appreciate the sentiment of you extending the invite. I hope that the 21st October is filled with much love and joy with a few memorable but very pleasant surprises thrown in. |
