The last time I donned the pink collar of shame was due to the secondaries of my new Tirpitz. A very low health De Grasse sailed between me and an enemy Bismark and my secondaries set him on fire.... I apologized and he understood but I still had to spend 7 games sporting Breast Cancer Awareness colors.

Had some genius decide one time to sail between me and an island in a gap maaayyyybe twice the width of his ship as I was getting ready to ambush a bot in Co op. 12 Ohotnik torps into his side later...  Only time in randoms was when one of my Orion shells sailed juuuust over a red and hit a green who had like maybe 600 HP. He found it funny, actually.  |

High tier play is super bi-polar. Battleships all hang out on the edge of gun range lobbing ragged volleys over mountains, while destroyers steam into the middle at 38 knots firing walls of torpedoes into narrow straits hoping for a Devastating Strike medal. The game mode and situation seems to have no bearing on how people play.

Battleships all hang out on the edge of gun range lobbing ragged volleys over mountains, while destroyers steam into the middle at 38 knots firing walls of torpedoes into narrow straits hoping for a Devastating Strike medal. The game mode and situation seems to have no bearing on how people play. That's because those BB players have all played a game where they tried to push in, found a lot of enemy ships, and then the DDs stealthed up while the cruisers turned around and left the BBs to get focus fired. I'm not saying I advocate the BBack Row BBaby by any stretch...but some of it is because they can't disengage like the rest of the fleet. BBs with absurd concealment like the Conq can't use the argument. |

Cant just sit right back, but even when I'm holding back, the number of times I get left by ships in firing range is too damn high. |

So IO finally caved and bought a couple of premiums. Bought gold and saved £3 over the store price (I do like the buy gold in multiples of 500 thing). Picked up a Graf Spee, De grasse, 2 slots and 2 3pt captains for less than £36. Then because I played a co-op at tier 6 I got my referral gift of a Texas, slot, 3pt captain, 3m silver, 75k free xp, 24hrs prem and a butt load of flags in bundles of 25. Texas is a bit silly, this was only a co-op game, but 11 planes down and fuck you to the Emil (only landed 3 shots total) |

Texas is a bit silly, this was only a co-op game, but 11 planes down and fuck you to the Emil (only landed 3 shots total) I don't know what service level you're at, but check your reserve captains. I had two random ten point captains sitting in there. |
