I couldn't buy a win today, but I did have some great losses in the tier 7 Italian BB!

I have been liking the SAP vs pretty much everything but DD's and they have fantastic AP rounds too. The dispersion is absolutely cancerous, but on the occasion that RNG actually allows you to hit something, the guns hit hard.

This was my record for today. I quit after the final steamroll in Bretagne.As you can see, the game did NOT want me to win a single one. Every game was an absolute steamroll loss. 7 of 10 we were down 3 ships within 3 minutes of the game starting.

So I been trying to get steel by completing daily trails. I looked up how much I would get in a year and the answer was somewhere in the neighborhood of 14,600 a year. Not enough to get the FDR in a timely manner so I started doing ranked battles. Doing better than I thought but I am wondering if I can make it past bronze league. I've unlocked all the prizes for bronze leage (600 steel, 200 dubs and some camo). Here's today's highlights as I climbed up from rank 10 to 4.



In This match I covered B cap with two subs while the rest of the team fought for A cap. I ended up fighting two ships and two subs. I was the one who ended up killing the subs! In a PEF of all things. I dropped a bunch of depth charges and made some rather point blank shots with my cannons, secondaries helped too.




This was the final battle of the day. After losing all my stars and ending up at lvl 5 again I had just won a battle in my Molotov and wanted to finish the day in my Lowenhartd. The battle seemed to be going to crap but the red team fucked up and forgot about the caps. The BBs got distracted and tried to chase down a DD then they tried to track me down. I was bombing and torping as hard as I could, dropping fighters when I could. Then I heard the words every captain fears,"Our hope depends on you". FUCK right then I spotted a DD not far from my carrier. bailed on my current run, pulled up my bombers and homed in on that fucker. Remembered to give ea little extra lead as I lined up the cross hairs and made the drop. It only had a little bit of HP left maybe my secondaries would do it, but thankfully my skills (and rng) pulled through and blew the red teams chances of winning the match. Right before it ended my team was like "nice shot CV". Felt so awesome!!!

I've had so many good games in this ship, but in this one everything fell into place for a nice epic game. Never got 6 kills befor in WOWS! This ship is at home in the center of chaos (atleast in coop).

If you keep showing me broadside in any ship and I am in Slava, at any range, I am going to give you a savage beating. This is ranked folks. I'll say it again for those in the back, do NOT sit broadside to a Slava, for any reason!Thunderer? Stationary, broadside, 12 km's. Montana? Broadside, 18km's. Salem? Slightly off broadside, 16km's. Vampire? Broadside, 8km's with HE. Just don't do it. You may think you can get away with it, even just for a second. You're gonna have a bad time.  

Sure Slava has bad armor. Sure she has 1 less heal than other BB's. Sure she has a long reload. These are by FAR the most accurate BB guns you will ever see. Insanely tight shell groupings almost guaranteeing multiple cits. I believe one of, if not THE highest pen BB guns in the game. 

The Munchen plays second fiddle to the Weimar at tier VII, but she still can dish out operations damage. The Gneise followed along behind and tried to "secure kills" after I'd knocked the ships down to 10% health.

It's been a good day for ranked today. I went 8-2 wins-losses and had some excellent games. I've been playing my Yamato pretty aggressively in preparation for getting Shikishima and its worked out, calculated flanking in the big girl. This game the enemy team managed to focus me down, but I tanked just over 3 million potential damage from 5 of the 7 players on the red team. My final shot just before I died nuked the Minotaur with 3 cits. Totally worth it!

I finished top of the list in all but one of my games today, which is surprising. Something must be in my coffee?
