Ok I will try not to post another cv game unless it's outstanding. This would have been good if I had a better team. I got first blood and nuked the minsk on my first bomber run. Started to hit other ships until I noticed my DDs were doing fuck all to get the enemy DDs so I focused on them. A CA and a BB helped me take them out by then we were down to half the team. Had enough time to take out the Arizona before they came around the other side and got me as by now I was the only one left. Kind of a bummer but finishing #2 cheered me up.   |

Thats the one I have stopped on so far. The Italian cruisers are certainly interesting. How are you liking them so far? I like their ability to put up decent damage numbers. They arent well suited for carrying, though, with their bad concealment and lack of utility. Their biggest problem right now is that their playstyle is countered by Deadeye. |

So yesterday I got most of my final grinding done before stopping to watch the Chiefs lose the super bowl. Stopped at 342k xp. Today I used my last free 200% xp camo and another special flag along with all the regular econmy flags and started the first game hoping I would win, AND I DID!!! yay! Here's the final battle in my Lexington. Mostly just spotting for the first half of the game and tried to help kill DDs and weaken the other ships when I could. Then I had to kill a Fletcher who had hunted me down. I managed to sink him on the second bombing pass, but he launched torps before I did that so he got the flesh wound medal. I had launched my torp planes before I sank and spotted the final BB, a thunderer at !/2 health. He didn't seem to care I was around and made for an easy target as I got 3 torp hits on the first pass. I flew around and kept him spotted for a bit and then timed my last torp run before my timer ran out. He had used his repair party so I got some flood damage before my teammates finished him off. Got a new High score in this one which is a nice finishing note in this boat!   Now the Midway floats in my Port (again) only this time I feel I actually earned it instead of using extra xp from the CV rework for earning the Essex before they did that, I also got better with the new CVs now that they are "done" messing with them. My 21 pt captain is earning xp for my next captain, probably gonna be a Russian one or maybe British. For now I am gonna say I'm done grinding lines until I decide to do the French BB line but that might be a good while. Still got 92 New Years camos from my Santa crates when I do though!  |

So last night while grinding the Anshan Lunar New Year op I decided my GK wasn't in the sweet spot like before. I went back and swapped back to the legendary module but kept the Concealment Expert. I also swapped the 420 guns for the 406s. Had a good coop in that and wondered what if I took off the fire fighting and put on the Brawler skill too? Here's the result.  I ended up fighting a GK for the first part, then with 1/2 life left I headed across the map to fight the Kremlin and another GK. Had alittle help but I think I brawled it out pretty well! I used 18 points, gonna save the last 3 for adrenalin rush! the 406s seem to shoot tighter groups too. Even if it's not good for randoms or CB it'll be mad fun in coop. |

I just could not scrape out a win, no matter how I tried.    Ashitaka is incredibly powerful ever since they gave her Amagi's upgraded shells. This ship should never be ignored at any tier. Imagine using an Amagi, 10x410mm guns vs an Omaha or Viribus Unitus! The only damage I took this game was from the Akizuki, who barely managed to survive a salvo from me by the grace of RNG, unfortunately it was a 3v1 since I was the only surviving player on my team and they burned me down before I could kill them. |

There was no way Englush and I were losing 3 in a row.    On a side note if you are in a Cornholio, do NOT sail broadside to an Ashitaka! Dev struck him with a staggered salvo. It was nice to bang out a win after the teams we've been having tonight. Englush played his Sims extremely well! |

I like big guns and I cannot lie!    Ran into Taichunger in this game, he was in Gulio Cesare. It went pretty well, I pushed aggressively through the middle and flanked the A cap, getting side shots on multiple enemy ships. I hit the Dunkerque with a 40,000 dmg single salvo for 3 cits. Warspite was my first premium and always a pleasure to take out even after all the years and other ships I have. |

I gotta admit -- I'm liking Legends a LOT more than I thought I would. Maybe because I'm more used to a controller, or because I have a bit of a headstart thanks to PC experience (and, due to that, a 60% win rate and 3:1 k/d as of now, lol), or just because the game is actually more balanced than the PC (especially carriers, which are a non-factor, tbh), or because the games are faster. Whatever it is, I like it. And RN DDs are AMAZINGLY strong -- regular smokes have such a long cooldown (twice as long as PC), so their quick-fire smokes are well-suited to console gameplay. Oh, and if you hate CVs, you HAVE to play tier III on console. Players think they are arty and just reverse to the map's edge, allowing you to hunt them with ease. Got three pelts last Friday night, all solo, including this carry.    Also had a decent Ishi game, though not sure why the team list didn't save ... ?   |

Hello Fuso my old friend, I've come to kill with you again...Because my fires are softly burning, left the red ships on quite low HP...and the vision that was planted in my brain, of ships sinking...with the sound of cannons....    Reset this line, after a long time of deliberation. I was worried because Yamato is my favorite tier X, but I had forgotten how much I like the ships in the Japanese BB line. This was the first line I ever went up back in 2016. Everything this game went well for me, RNG wise. Fuso is tanky if you angle her properly and her guns do a LOT of damage if you catch someone broadside or out of position. Too much fun! |

These American DD's are fun!    First time playing US DD's. Boy are they fun. I've been playing quite a bit of DD's in ranked, since they seem to be the easiest to rank out with. I've had a lot of good games with this Farragut. |

Her guns can be moody, but they do have exceptional pen for their calibre. French BB's should always be played from a flanking position if possible, since they generally lack overmatch and tent to have too much pen and velocity. If not, alternating ammo to force bow on targets to turn is a solid choice. A mistake often made in Dunk is to sit bow on but she has great maneuverability for her class, she can be played like a large cruiser with much more powerful guns and from longer ranges.
