I'm currently listening to "Imajica" by Clive Barker. Without spoiling anything it involves the main characters being able to go through gateways to other dimensions with other worlds and societies.
The book is very long and Barker can be pretty overly descriptive at times but it's been a satisfying read overall. It's a very unique premise in my opinion and it's worth a read if you're into fantasy. It reminds me of Stephen King's "The Dark Tower" series in a way.

I haven't much been a reader, but a book I did start reading about a month or so ago and haven't since continued is "The Forgotten Soldier" by Guy Sajer. I can't say anything about it thus far as I've only read a small amount.

Full title is....Fighter Boys: The Battle of Britian, 1940 by Patrick Bishop
It explains how they formed the units, recruitment, and what have you. Then it follows them through the campaign. But if you like more of a personal look at these young men and their experiences, it's a great book.

No, I don't think I have. I'll look it up, but I've got a backlog of books from Christmas to get through first, including one on the SOE, one on photo recce pilots and one on American fighter pilots.
