Quick, you better find another 'typical liberal response' book to pull more reactions from.
You're almost done with this one.

I think it's good that people are protesting this. It helps reassure me that when the Trump-voter generation are all dead, it'll get more progressive.

On the contrary, being a liberal is actively encouraged by our mainstream media and it is taught by most colleges and universities. Conservatives are labeled as uneducated. If any ideology is discouraged, it's conservatism.

Welcome to American politics, where liberalism and progressiveness are discouraged. And where Christian beliefs are thrown out the window, as far as taking care of fellow man. Unless it comes to sexual orientation or women's health, then we'll throw the Bible in your face.

If majority rules was how this country worked at a federal level, there would be no civil rights, no women's rights, no LGBT rights. The country would have collapsed the first time one party had a majority in Congress. We're about to see it now, eh? All Republican control..... Not even close...the President, the head of the executive branch was not elected via majority/popular vote. Additionally, the 435 congressmen/congress women are only elected from their respective districts within a state, hence the very common occurrence of both democrat/republican representatives from the myriad of each state's congressional districts. In other words, a congressman from Chicago does not represent the interests voters in Southern Illinois. Nice though.

There were protests for that! There were protests at Hillary's rallies here in Chicago. There were a number of protest actually. They weren't sensational enough to be on TV for all to see. They were peaceful. Fox news doesn't show that stuff. How would you have ever known? Fox News??? CNN lives for/thrives on riots/protests. Hell, CNN would probably be kaput if it wasn't for riots/protests, hotel lobbies, airports and hospital waiting rooms.

Not withstanding the issue with a low turnout, the election was won by approximately 107,000 votes in PA, OH and WI. They are still analyzing the data, but they're virtually certain that the difference was blue collar men and women who elected Obama twice, but voted for Trump instead.

In the vice president's home state where he is governor. It is punishable by 18 months in prison and a 10,000 fine to lie on your marriage license. On a marriage license in Indiana, it asks for the man's name and the woman's name......

The fact of the matter is that Hillary Clinton lost the election because she was a bad candidate and she and her political team were full of hubris. Shit, she never once visited Wisconsin during the general election campaign, completely taking it for granted (remember my comments regarding the electoral college and having to pay attention to the entire nation) since it hadn't voted for a Republican presidential candidate since 1984.
Additionally, she focused on maligning Trump instead of focusing on exactly what she was going to do- "Stronger Together" and "I'm With Her" aren't exactly resonating slogans. She considered 84 different slogans and this is what she came up with. Ask anyone on the street and most couldn't really tell you what she stood for. Like it hate it, Trump ran on key tenets- Secure border, immigration, trade and bringing jobs back to name a few.

If any ideology is discouraged, it's conservatism. And that's why Trump won and abortion and gay marriage are still illegal, blocked or incredibly difficult in some states, is it? First of all, marriage originated in the Bible. The only way it can be called gay marriage is to redefine the term marriage. Those types of unions are legal and have been upheld by the Supreme Court. Abortion likewise is legal. Late term abortions are illegal in a number of states. As as far as Trump winning, the biggest reason cited by voters who participated in exit polling, was that people wanted a candidate who could bring about change. Hillary was going to be the 3rd term of Obama. Couple that with the culture of political corruption that follows the Clintons. Enough people in enough states voted against those things. The Wikileaks emails paint a picture of Pay-to-Play and that US foreign policy would have been influenced by all the money the Clintons took in

The fact of the matter is Dems didn't turn out. The news said Hillary has a three point lead where Obama and Romney were tied at the same time. We were lazy. We didn't feel like standing in line for four and five hours to vote, in some places. We figured "that crazy racist, sexist whack job doesn't have a chance.". Well, he did

Interesting perspective- A vote is a vote, it doesn't matter if the majority of those votes come from certain areas. If America used the purest form of representative democracy possible then Clinton would have won. This is why I don't get it when people get annoyed that old people swung the Brexit vote. A 95 year old man's vote is as equal as an 18 year old woman's. Similarly, a person who lives in New York City's vote is just as equal as a person who lives in rural South Dakota. The fact of the matter is that Clinton was more popular. I'm not saying the Electoral College is a bad thing, but it doesn't necessarily make it a good thing because it stops certain areas from swinging the result. I probably explained that really awfully. America isn't a democracy btw

Actually, Trump got fewer overall votes than Romney, but did better with women and minority voters.

No wonder his campaign staff banned that fucking arsehead from his Twitter account in the last few days. As for issues he wants to build a fucking wall, ban Muslims and thinks he can solve everything. How the fuck did a wall and banning a whole religion win votes?

As for issues he wants to build a fucking wall, ban Muslims and thinks he can solve everything. How the fuck did a wall and banning a whole religion win votes? Yep, he ran on pointing out that Hillary Clinton was corrupt. However, he also ran on secure borders (including building a wall), controlling immigration from countries where the backgrounds of immigrants can't be vetted, trade deals where both parties trade on a level playing field, reducing corporate taxes, simplifying the tax code, re-invigorating the energy sector, reducing onerous regulations implemented by unelected bureaucrats (sound familiar to Brexit?) that cost large and small businesses Billions of dollars, etc. Sounds terrible to me. If so, I fit the definition of a "deplorable" to a "T".
BTW..I never chanted "lock her up", even though I think the case regarding her server and the classified material found on it should have been sent to a grand jury. Particularly, since I would have been prosecuted and jailed if I would have done the same thing while I was in the service.
