So I just got the Borsig over the weekend. Put perma paint and the top 12.8 on it and have a crew with the following skills:
- SS - BIA - Camo - Muffled Shot - Green Thumb - working on Sit Aware, to be replaced with Silent Driving, the repeat Sit Aware
What other skills/perks do you recommend? View range or maneuverability?
Edit - it seems to get engine damage a LOT. Is there a way to avoid this?

there isn't a way to avoid the engine damage. the whole thing seems to get engine damage from any direction; considering it is made out of wet tissue. After you've retrained sit aware you should go for recon. More view range is always good. then you should go for some survivability since you have no armour. maybe train pain tolerance or JOAT, then swap it for safe stowage, then train either of them again. preventative maintenance seems like a good idea too.
You might want to do snap shot before all this though.

View range in my opinion.

Put every camo skill/perk you can, don't worry about anything else except 6th Sense.
Buy permanent camo for it.
Sit behind a bush behind your front line heavies and pop the reds for 500+ when they try to get an angle on your teammates.
Use APCR if you want to be an asshole (I do and enjoy it).
You don't really need to be mobile with it, seeing as it's made to sit in concealment and blast away at the reds.
After all that is done, then you can do the view range and maneuverability skills/perks.
You avoid engine damage by never being seen.
