Plan on grinding to the 155 58 so not keeping them. Do I get the engines or just go straight to the next tank after the first package?

There doesn't seem to be any point in unlocking the top engines since they don't carry over to other tanks. They all have there own engines it seems. Just skip them.

I did all the upgrades, the speed does help when running away from enemies. You can hit over 60 kph. You can also run food and fuel to help them go faster

I just got the 58 two days ago, tier 8 package is optional but DO NOT take the 54k package on the tier 9 unless you want a grind longer than the 277k needed to get the 58. It is a non factor IMO and nothing caries over because it's tier 10. Unfortunately I accidentslly researched it...
The only thing I can think of that might be worth getting it, is if the engine carries over to the AMX-30 line. Been awhileon PC for me though so might wanna check the wiki.
