So I've been playing these two lines for quite a while. I play the tanks for a bit and then leave and come back to them. These two lines I have returned frequently and I think it's to finish them. I have an E-50 that uses the L/71 88 and is really painful. I'm losing silver, I'm getting my butt kicked in, it sucks. The ISU is a similar story. I have the D-25T, meaning I'm going to bounce most of my shots and if I spam premium I'll losing thousands (which is why I'm going to free xp both or them to their final package). Now I know I'm comparing a tier 8 to a tier 9 but from what I've been told, when you get the Bl-10 on the ISU, it has automatically became an the easiest grind in the game. 750 damage, stupidity high penetration, it's looks like a blast.
The E-50 fully upgraded gets a nice 105 and has a 1200hp engine, heavy armour and is quite large. But some people say it's one of the best mediums.
So what do I go down first? Boom stick or killer medium?

I voted ISU because I've only made it as far as the Panther on the E-50M line.

ISU! That 268 may look like some huge ass grind, but after getting the BL-10 on the ISU, you need 20k XP to top it out, not to mention, a Object 704 will lay waste to the E50. * disclaimer* the object 268 shell velocity is horrid

Go for TD and then save up free xp for the 50. It's a lot of fun bullying people around once it's upgraded

I loved both of them. The ISU in a tier 6 is one shot city. The E-50 fully upgraded is a ramming machine, low health targets are a must ram as well as tier 7's. But the ISU with the BL-10 is the easier grind.

E-50 because the SU-152 and ISU-152 are boring. I happen to like the SU-152 (because over 3k DPM on that 122 is balanced) The ISU is similar to large damage but happens to 2 shot nearly everything at the same tier. |

I love the E-50... Very good med tank.. The ISU fully upgraded is a beast though.. I feel the 704 isn't as dominant at tier 9 as the E-50.

ISU-152. Use the stock gun until you get the BL10, you will get used to high damage slow firing guns to prep for the BL10. The stock gun will damage any tank you face and crush many modules in the process, making it an effective tank. I found the ISU line by a VAST margin the easiest grind I've done so far.
DPM is great and all, no arguement there, but if you are grinding up the 268 line you are NOT grinding it for DPM. My advice to anyone going for it (worthless as it must seem) is to use the biggest guns you have access to. The ISU has a particular play style to be effective, and its best to learn it now.
