I got into a discussion last night about gameplay with a light driver on Mali assault.
He sat in the middle of the field in a tier 9 game. We were defending.
His game. Spotted 2 tanks. Got 600 assisted damage. Fired 1 clip. Then died. GG.
After watching him sit in the field doing nothing for first 4 mins I sent him a message saying "useless". He came back after the battle saying he was in top 4500 players and he played that battle textbook. I needed to go to the wiki. Called out my light stats after on w/r which made me laugh even more when I actually went to check his.
Checked his stats and yeah on the face of it looked decent. But fuck me. He loves his TDs. And his other tanks are mainly pretty meh.
(He had a 57% w/r in his 13 90 and ratio of 1in6 games getting fire for effect.
Seeing he told me he doesn't spot in it then his net worth to any win can't be that great.)
Just got me thinking how Skewed the game is towards TDs and how people live for their stats.
This guy on paper is one of the best. As long as he's sitting way at the back dishing out damage while doing nothing else.
In a strange way made me feel a lot better about my own gameplay.
May not be anywhere near the best but I know I'm flexible*
