So after 3000 games I'm finally almost at a tier 10. Which is better? E100 or Jageroo. I like tanks with big guns whose alpha punishes enemies. I have loved the versatility of the Jagtiger, not to mention its ungodly rof for alpha ratio but the E75 is really what its reputation suggests. It allows a mediocre player like me to do extremely well, having gotten a couple 5000 damage games.
E100 or Jageroo for first tier 10?

Jageroo is pretty troll. I'd choose the El Hundo.

JPZ E-100 was my first X. It's sitting in the garage collecting dust because it was power-creeped to almost worthlessness IMO.
The E-100 I kept active longer, since it can still push the front line and deal damage (HEAT-100 FTW). I finally mothballed it because I prefer faster heavies that can play like big mediums.
I'd go with the E-100 if I had to choose between the two.

E-100 for sure.
It's not as "derpy" alpha wise as the Jageroo, but it's more consistent, actually has a turret and is in the running for being one of the best god damn heavies at tier X.
It can be extremely unforgiving at times, but once you get it tamed, the E-100 will just annihilate entire flanks for you, while shrugging off an ungodly storm of pain and damage.

I don't get the hate for the Jageroo. Maybe I should grind to it and find out what everyone is complaining about. All you have to do in it is creep slowly to the front lines then smack somebody for 1k of their health, reload then repeat. I know the gun can be a bit herpa derp but at 100m or less accuracy isn't important; especially if you are packing 299mm of pen or lol420blazeitsmokeweedevryday HEAT pen.
Still the E-100 will be better anyway. It hits like a truck, has a high HP and has a turret making it more flexible and easier to handle than the Jageroo. The only problem is the low pen on the 15cm gun but this can be solved by either being super close to the enemy so you can hit their weak spots(and avoid the similarly bad accuracy); or you could spam HEAT like people with skill.
I'd go for the E-100.

E-100 and learn to angle hull and turret. Anymore when someone is going for their first tier X I tell them to go for a medium but you're already at the JPZE100 and E100. FWIW I sold the JPZE100 twice, I hate that lumbering POS with a passion.
When all else fails you can use it to smash shit.
