While it's not ground-breaking, I like some of the things they've done and always like new maps. What do you think though?

New maps is a good thing but i wish they could add more open ones, there's a lot of corridor maps.
The visual stuff seems good but i would rather see a balance update.

Pacific Island 'War' map. I get a bad feeling about this one, not finding the present version inspiring to play. Cluttering up a map(even more) may be ok when driving heavy stuff or tank destroyers, but in a faster and lighter tank your manoeuvrability is nerfed by default, which can affect the balance of the game outcome in favour of the heavier classes, as you cannot get to key positions (and there ain't many on that small map).
Maybe there'll be improvements, but as I say in the first line and going from past experience, I ain't holding my breath.

Other than Pacfic island war i'm looking forward to seeing it live. Pacific island is a bad map design wise anyway, due to the percentage of map that is water there isn't much room as it is, and half of the map is a hill so cluttering it up with things that blocks lights and slows other classes down is asking for a disaster.

I haven't been on the WOT website forum in weeks just because, what is the point? It is not like WG listens to us anyway. So I heard about the update last night and decided to log in this morning and see what they all did. I didn't even make a comment. I see they did absolutely nothing to balance the game therefore what is the point in even acknowledging their existence.

Still baffled by the point of the green laser beam shining from your turret on the map. If it indicated when a shot was blocked like it does for artillery maybe but otherwise it's pointless.

Yeah one of two updates I'll have to download that are pointless when I get home next month. would say wish they would do the whole balancing thing but that is pointless. Or even bring up the Action X that everyone has been asking for, but again that is pointless. Glad I just enjoy blowing up other tanks in the game.

I couldn't tell much difference in audio tbh. I was expecting too much, I guess. Only played one new map so far, Hidden Village. It was a typical corridor map but with long lines of sight. The crew rank, meh.

The updated eye & ear-candy is nice. Hidden Village, so far, has been somewhat fun as I can completely avoid the city and the hill-trail has enough entry/exit points that you can pop in and out with good flanking opportunities. I've only gotten Great Wall 3 times and it seems to have some promise with the outside trail also having workable hills. I have not suffered experienced the Pathetic Island - WHORE! map yet, so will withhold my absolute hatred opinion until having played it.
The green line on the map that shows where your camera is facing is interesting and can be of help I guess, although I haven't really utilized it much. I kinda like the new tracer effects if only to make it easier to laugh at the people spamming premium at my uber-armored lights.
As a whole, I think this has been a decent update.
