Bought the T21 yesterday just to have something new to fiddle with. I gotta ask though: What's the purpose? Hasn't the Bulldog line made this tank and the T71 irrelevant? It's not awful, but you can't go ass-kicking with it in my opinion. I did HE a Tiger 2 for his last sliver to end a battle...that was funny. Opinions?

That was my first line, so I was really bad then. But even then, I never liked that tank much. At least the T71 was a big step-up. But that was like a year and a half ago. Seeing how a bunch of the new light tank lines have come into the game since then, it does really hurt the appeal of that particular line, like you said. I hate to say that because I really like the T71 and T69 but the Bulldog is likely everyone's path down that line to the T57 now.

I really liked the T21 when I went through it, and it has my one and only Orlick's medal. In fact, it was my fave tier VI light until the T37 came out.
The issue is that the T37 is so superior it's not even funny. It's more mobile and the gun is much more reliable -- it just outclasses it in every possible way. The T71 has seen the same thing happen: it's been made basically irrelevant by the much better Bulldog. Hell, the AMX Chaffee is better than the T71, IMHO.
That being typed, it's not nearly as bad as many make it out to be. You do, however, need a really good crew to make it work.

Even though the M41 is probably better, the T71 is still a tank in that line that I would recommend playing. But free XPing the T21 wouldn't be the end of the world, in my opinion lol. |

I still have the T21 and actually like it. I sold the T37 and have kept this, Bulldog and the T71. I do like lights when in the mood and hope to 3 mark this T21 when I get back to playing tanks... been taking a bit of a break for now though.

t71 solo is more of and a better spotter than the dog. if platooned with brawling tanks a well timed clip into distracted reds can win the flank. wolfpacked with other t71s its unstopable. its still a good tank but the dog fits the meta of the game more now so that is the better path i think.
have just sold my t71 as im not a fan of autoloaders and i still need to elite the dog which im not using much as im enjoying the rue and wizzy132 too much to be bothered with it. i will buy it back one day and give it 3marks but for now its just not needed. t21 is a good tank, hope you enjoy it.
