Is the IS-4 worth the grind?

Is the IS-4 any good?

Good gun, mobility and very strong side and turret armor. When angled right you got +288mm everywhere. 288mm on the shoulders the rest well above 300mm and the sides to thick to pen.

Then I got to the Is4 and all I can say is how pleased I am with it. Especially if you can platoon with some friends who have high alpha TD.
