Tier Vs just dissect the thing, and the gun is extremely unreliable. I thought they buffed it. I think buying it back was a massive mistake. I'm sad.

Gonna have to go wth user error on this one. It's the best tier 8 medium in the game, and it has an 88 that reloads crazy fast and will tear anything apart.

I used it soooo wrong for soooo long. Trying to brawl with it is a mistake. Let other heavies take the lead. Use it as a second line tank or better yet, sit back a little and snipe away with it. Top package on it can wreck the reds.

The armor can be a little soft so angle like your life depends on it because it does, use the speed to find good sniping/ambush spots (not always to race to the front line), and late game roam about to collect kills. When it clicks, you will see it was buffed quite nicely. Good luck.

It is all gun. There isnt much armour but you have a healthy amount of hp so you can take a few hits. It really plays like a medium especially in higher tier games as tier 8/9 will wreck you if spotted. That is why I like the t29 more. I am way more effective in higher tier games because of the armour and higher alpha. I feel like an xp pinata in high tier games while driving the tiger

Like what was said above me, you are almost always going to have to angle the hull armor for it to be effective. But when you get the angling down, it can surprise you. Your turret is decent as well if you can go hull down. Try dealing with targets at range and give it another shot =P

Thanks to mid-tier madness we seem to be chest deep in Tigers at the moment.
Was in a match yesterday where we had seven and the reds had six!
A heck of a lot of people don't know how to get the best out of it though - I think by the end of the round there were only two of us Tiger drivers left on the green team and all the red were dead.

My strategy: 2nd line support for the first 3/4 of the match-ish, then use my large hit point pool to bully in the last 1/4 of the game.
It's worked well enough to get me to ~90% damage standing in it, and seriously give my stats in it a boost. I originally ground through it pre-buff, back when I was a noob. Now, post-buff, it's amazing.

I just bought it back as well. grinding the new gun has not even been that bad. I know it is soooo much better than when I played and sold it pre-buff. Keep with marmoset....this tank is a beast.

Hanging back a bit works well in tier 8 & 9 games but you can bully a lot of tanks when you're top tier. |
