Might have to run vents on it, but I don't want to take optics off. you'd lose 5% on view range but gain 5% on everything else. its view range is monster anyway for a t8 prem so you'd only notice it when bottom tier and to be fair thats when your most gratefull for the 5% boost everywhere else. i think its worth giving it a go, and theres allways recon sit aware to up your view if you do miss it that much. You gain a 5 percent crew skill boost, which translates into 2.2 percent real boost. Optics provide a 10 percent view range boost, not 5 percent.

I don't care if reload is just over or just under 10 with a bunch of stuff on there. It's still too slow. Both the Tiger 2 and VK45A reload faster with essentially the same gun. They are both more mobile than the Lowe. The Tiger 2 is much better armored. All the Lowe gets is a little more pen. The Lowe needs a RoF buff to be more competitive. I know some will say that premiums should not be as good as tech tree tanks. But with the parade of OP premiums we've got, we all know how well WG keeps to that. I like the tank, but it's statistically one of the worst tier 8 premium tanks. the Lowe has more pen and a better turret. Tiger II's roof gets over matched. There is no excuse for it to have a slower reload though. Its painful.

I'd post it here, but the search function over there is terrible. It might take a while to find it again.

The equation is (nominal stat/0.875)*(0.00375*skill level + 0.5)+ Equipment bonus
The stats are put in as percentages, so a 100% crew skill would be 100 skill level. A crew with 100 percent skill would give a 0.875 value from the skill level term. It's meant to do that so it cancels out the 0.875 in the nominal stat term. A 105% crew would give 0.89375 from that term.
0.89375 / 0.875 = gives 1.0214 or a 2.14 percent increase. But I think it might round up to the next integer on the tenths, so it becomes 2.2%
The vents effective bonus is 2.2% or 2.1% depending on how WG rounds.

I'm not sure what you mean. I followed a link from the PC forum to the Wiki. Then I did some quick math. I didn't even try to find the quote from the official forum. The search feature is terribad.

Not everyone votes correctly. thats why they have votes. if prem tanks are as good as tree tanks then whats the point in grinding? prem tanks get extra xp and silver as a trade off for being a little bit shit. if a lowe was as good as a tiger2 but made extra silver then there are people that would play only that tank and shoot only gold rounds as they could afford to. good luck grinding tiers 6 7 8 and 9 then, it would be hell. as for the latest prem tanks that are getting 'as good as tree tanks' im not really sure they are but tree tanks are getting better, they need to or everyone would be driving a maus. once the most feared tank in the game now just a meatshield free xp for anyone who can flank it or shoot gold. they bring out new lines and the game goes on. my vote is prem tanks for grinding silver, tree tanks for grinding win8 and pools medals..... but i maybe wrong about that.

Not everyone votes correctly. Obviously you don't understand the premises on what premium tanks are.
