If you play it right, it's a support tank, it can really do some harm.
It's silly accurate, mints silver like crazy, has good gun depression, and a big weird Manlet. All is not perfect though, it's slow, it's armor cannot be relied on, it takes 12 seconds to reload, it's alpha and DPM are paltry, and it's 50 dollars.

I like it, but make damn sure it's what you want before you slam that money down on the table.

Wait for a tier 8 sale. It's not worth the money normally. I got it, played it a lot, and got pretty good in it. But I got tired of the slowness and poor RoF + Alpha. I quit playing it, and now I've lost my mojo in it. I get my butt kicked now because I push it too hard. It's really a slow TD with bad hull armor (though it sidescrapes ok). Snipe in it an resist the temptation to push.

Amazing tank. Very versatile. You can hull down, side scrape and snipe in the roaring beast that is the Lion. It can also be a good spotter if you can get it into a nice position. its difficult to get it to work at first; the Lowe is one of those tanks that you struggle with, then something just clicks in your brain and it becomes amazing.

The biggest problem for the Lowe is that no one is afraid of it, the horrid lower plate, the bad DPM and the awful speed. Its also quite tall which can be a blessing and a curse. You can shoot over a lot of things other tanks can't, but this makes you a huge target.
The aiming time is also pretty bad which kind of ruins the accuracy of the gun.

Wait for a sale. Its a good tank when you figure it out, but its not worth the asking price.

I wouldn't call the Lowe versatile. I don't think any tank that slow can truly be called versatile. It has some good things it can do in different situations, but you're not going to be able to respond or relocate effectively. You're a sniper first, and a sidescraper second. That's the two main things this tank does well.

The reload is more like 9.9 give or take. It's nowhere near 12. That's the t34, and it's about 11.68.

Base reload is 12 seconds. With BiA, Rammer, and chocolate, you might be able to get that just down to about 10 seconds.

less with choc but as i just took it into proving grounds to see i wasnt gonna waste 20k...
base rof is 5per min but less than 10sec reload is easy doable.

you'd lose 5% on view range but gain 5% on everything else.
its view range is monster anyway for a t8 prem so you'd only notice it when bottom tier and to be fair thats when your most gratefull for the 5% boost everywhere else.
i think its worth giving it a go, and theres allways recon sit aware to up your view if you do miss it that much.
