So, after a long while eyeballing the Löwe, I finally pulled the trigger on it (OT paycheck!). I find it to be a real pleasure to play as well. My quandary for you though is how to handle the inevitability of a team collapse while playing it. Please, allow me to forward my question with this, I usually prefer up close Soviet brawlers, so a support heavy is a new creature for me. Basically what can I do (other than just shoot them more) to prevent or slow the collapse of a flank.
Tl:dr How to carry better with the Löwe, where are some good places to park it? Hull down or peek-a-boom?

The Lowe and the T34 are great but my problem with them is getting stuck in tier X games. I have regular elited tiers 8s I would rather play than either of them for the reason you state. They struggle when facing good tier 9s or just about any 10. I honestly wish I wouldn't have purchased either one at this point.

I love the Lion myself but it is hard to get fully hull down because its so tall. I find a lot more success with a bit of a tall rock to hide behind myself. Remember that it has 100mm of side armor so you can sidescrape effectively most of the time. Hull down is viable as long as you wiggle to help them miss the cupola and for a German, the depression is nice. I find it hard to carry a team in though because that stupid gun loads so slow. It's too sluggish to peek-a-boom with though

I really want it for a German crew trainer as I have kept the the tiger line and an E-100 with no crew needs the boost.

I'm thinking deadeye might be a skill worth having, I too struggled to find a tall enough bit of hard cover, and the depression is right to be almost good enough to hull down on hills. No bad, could be better.

I've trained a crew from 2-7 skills in a week and a half...I run the crew through pz38H, pz2D, pzS35, t25, Pz V/IV, Hydro, Smaltrum for the two times at the beginning of each session...then I put them back in the Panther for its grind and then Panther 2 for the E50 grind. That crew has trained up extremely fast that way.

I have used the pz38h from time to time to throw a crew in, but didn't make a real concerted effort to do so. Which of the group would you recommend? Had to check but have the 38h and pz2d like most on here I would assume.

Many on my list are rare, so that presents a problem...but the T15 at tier 3 is a fun tank that I believe is in the tech tree. The PZS35 is my most decorated tank and I carry/dominate in that tank more than any other. It absolutely clubs in 85% of my tier 3 battles (I do have a stinker once in awhile), probably carrys just north of 40 % of tier 4 matches (I have to use premium rounds on Matildas and the fronts of grants/lees. It also does decent in tier 5 if a play careful support style (I have a Lehvaslaio's in it). I enjoy the T25 too but it's not quite a clubber/carry tank. You could train a crew pretty quickly using micro maus, t15, S35, and t25 at the beginning of every session. Of course, it's free to then move them back to the original tank you took them from for its grind as well. A lot of times, I play the S35 beyond the daily x2 because I usually score big Xp games regardless of MM.
