I am a huge German Armor fan, so naturally when I first started playing on PS4, I went the German Heavy tier first.
When I was grinding the Tiger 1, I really enjoyed it. I had a lot of fun. I couldn't wait for the Tiger II. Well....I've been grinding it. Played only it last night and am 4000 XP from the E75. Now, I'm not so sure.
It got to the point were I started a few other tiers. Heck I'm only 1000 XP away from my Bulldog. I did the full Firefly grind in no time. I am also close to the T34-88. I just hate the Tiger II. Maybe I'm playing it wrong. Maybe I'm not cut out for heavies?
Did I make a wrong decision?

The main problem with the Tiger II is the role switch it has to take depending on the tier MM puts you in. If you're top tier with just a few other 8's you can bully pretty much everything else, start adding more 8's, and especially TD's, your role starts to change as your armor doesnt hold up as well. Bottom tier, forget armor (common problem with heavies) and support with your gun.
I see people try to play it the same way every game, and it fails them.

The biggest problem is how ridiculously good the Tiger I is for it's tier. As a result, the Tiger II feels like a letdown. The E-75 is worth it though; it's one of the best tanks in the game at any tier.

Last night was cluster...
Seemed every game I played, I was mid or low tier. Maybe 2 games, I was top tier. I finally gave up and just let everyone else go and did clean up duty (I hate that but you have to do what you have to do)

The E75 is definitely worth it, especially after you fully upgrade it.

I made it to the E75. Took all the Equipment off my Tiger II and sold that thing. That was not enjoyable, for me at least.
I know the frontal armor is pretty good, on the E75 (top glacis better than lower) but the sides and back are the target spots on it. I was told not to do too sharp an angle when setting up toward the enemy.
Time to have some fun.

When you get the last bottom package and that's when you get the armour upgrade, then the package above it gives you the gun and it becomes the best tier 9 heavy (in my opinion).

E75 fully upgraded > E100. It's well worth getting and is the tank you will notice the most when it comes to troll bounces off your armor.

You have to get the E-75. It's a keeper for sure

The Tiger II is like most VIIIs, in that it can be very frustrating due to the huge jump in armor and firepower between VIII and X. You really have to adjust your play depending on the MM.
The stock E-75 can be tough as well. As soon as everyone sees you still have the Tiger II turret, they just blast you in the face. But once upgraded, the thing is beastly when played correctly (e.g., sidescraping, wigggling between shots if you have no cover, etc.
That being typed, I don't enjoy my E-75 that much and suck in it, but I've started to not enjoy heavy tanks in general. I come to prefer mobility over armor. (In fact, I'll probably move my 10-skill E-75 crew into the E-50 I very well might buy tonight.)
