I suppose a dead player can't get credit for a kill.

iv set tanks on fire died before them and got the kill, and postmortom spotting damage.
i know you cant do the "death from above" if your dead, maybe this is a side effect of it being an achevment made harder?

I figured the enemy tank was earning the death from above and eye for an eye...that's why I found the whole thing interesting

i wouldn't of thought you could get both at the same time. for one you have to live (i think) and the other you have to die (for sure).
shame you didnt msg him after and ask.

Had something similar happen last night, was looking for a place to show it, this works perfect! I'm in the T1 Heavy, engaging another T1, fixated on him & not paying attention, like a noob. Anyway, a D.W. 2 decides to go for a death from above on me. Instead, I get the kill on him, but am tracked & stuck under him, resulting in me killing myself too. Actually, the dead tank I'm sidescraping tried the same thing but I noticed him & reversed in time, then used his carcass as cover. Here's a link, the youtube vid doesn't appear to be working right.
