If I've been blasted I usually piggy-back on another Green and I think its fascinating what you can learn about another player. There are all sorts, those that try to hide, those that panic, those that yolo and those that seem to be confidently good and of course many other types.
This latter group tend to be more rare and I wondered if others piggy backed much, who you might tend to choose to piggy back on and whether you see the same sort of thing.

When I spectate I find myself yelling at the screen more than when I was in the game, especially if it's a close game and whoever is blowing it lol

If i do it, i check out the players who did not do much so far. Often it just make me wish i could use the dark side of the force to strangle the idiot i'm watching.
Players camping in top tier heavy tanks might make the world a better place by forgetting to look before they cross the street.
That's what i think when i spectate them, and sometimes it takes a few minutes to stop those thoughts.

I try to highlight a green that is engaged with reds so as to watch the action. I guess I'm unintentionally learning about play styles and individual tactics.

Unless I'm in a platoon, I always try to watch until the end of the match. I feel like it's good karma to watch your teammates and see how they do. I usually pick a tank closest in style to the one I'm driving and see if I can pick up any pointers or different approaches.

if i watch i normally go 1st to one with most kills (best player?) or who was in the same fight as me. i'll also watch the mop up so i can warn remaining players of where reds are heading. i might go back to my own dead tank and watch for falling trees if i think thats there route.
yes i think you learn a lot even if its what not to do. sometimes you get the show of your life, better than watching twitch.

I spectate my platoon mates who are mostly purple and I usually learn something. Even if its not what to do. LOL

If it's someone whose gamertag I recognize from either forum I will as either they're actually good so I might learn something or so I can have blackmail material for later.  otherwise I just head to the garage as all I'll usually wind up doing is raising my blood pressure watching greens fumble around. |

I do watch the remaining players switching between them all. Unless it's obvious that the remaining greens are just cowering in a corner. But if one of them is still in the fight, I'll try and help them when they're hunting reds. By pinging the map (not spamming) where Reds were last spotted. Or if a red is sneaking up behind him.

I normally sit around and watch games if their close, See if I can pick up some skills to improve my game. Used to work when I platooned with betters, But now it normally makes me facepalm and hate this game.
Learning what not to do isn't what i'm looking for.
