That looks pretty grim, if you don't mind me asking, what happened for you to end up with that in the first place? Actually, I do mind you asking. ha! No I don't they aren't sure what caused it. They said the most likely cause was a hair that burrowed under the skin inside my belly button, like a splinter, and caused the original infection. Like a splinter that isn't removed it just kept getting reinfected until it had damaged the tissue beyond repair which led to a chronic infection that would flare up from time to time. It had been an issue for years but only really caused problems when it would flare up. They cut the damaged tissue out and once it's out reoccurrence is quite rare. Had they not cut out the tissue there was a chance that it would end up being cancerous. All that from a hair? Fuck. Glad it didn't end up getting worse but it looks pretty bad anyway. That must be hurting like hell.

And to bring this all full circle, back to tanks.... This happens in one of two places, the belly button or on the tailbone. The tailbone version is called a "pilonidal cyst" and here's a blurb about it from WebMD
Another theory is that pilonidal cysts appear after trauma to that region of the body. During World War II, more than 80,000 soldiers developed pilonidal cysts that required a hospital stay. People thought the cysts were due to irritation from riding in bumpy Jeeps. For a while, the condition was actually called "Jeep Disease."

Yeah, it feels about 10x worse than it looks. I was expecting to see a hatchet like wound when they took the bandage off. Getting a vasectomy soon, I will have to post pics..... Bags of frozen peas or corn will soon be your best friends. Trust me.

Get well soon! Sorry your One isn't workin. Maybe if enough of us complain, they'll make it more like the older ones that worked offline. I don't understand that really. You should not need internet on a 1tb console to make a "downloaded" game work!!
