So I've decided to add another LT to go with my M41 and T49. I understand that the Ru 251 plays like a baby Leo 1, which I have and enjoy. I'm also leaning this way because I have a unassigned 4 skill German crew.
My question is whether or not I should start at the VK 28.01 or jump in at the Aufkl Panther? I have plenty of free experience to do either. Are the 28.01 and Aufkl Panther enjoyable tanks to play, or should I truncate my grind and just jump into the Tier 7? Any feedback on your experiences is appreciated. |

The VK is a load of fun, especially if you use the 10.5cm derp. It is capable of one shotting any arty you come across and can kill most other Lights with one or two hits. I once killed a platoon of three M53/55s with three shots, and I'm sure the rage was real. It is also sturdy enough to ram arty, Lights, or even nearly dead Mediums if you're into that.
The AwfulPanther is also quite a bit of fun, especially with the top gun. It fires fast and has good pen so it does great at flanking and harassing. It's even better at ramming than the VK and makes a great Light hunter.
I wouldn't skip either of them, unless you just can't wait to get the RU 251.

It took me awhile, but I learned to like the VK a lot. Got the XP to research and purchase the Auk Panther. I wound up keeping the VK. Strangely enough, I usually don't fee xp even stock packages. I did free xp the first package on the Auk and the next upgrades went to "0" XP. So I have the top package on it already. Only have a few games in it right now, but seems okay.

another vote for grinding, its 1 of the better lines. pz1c luchs awsome panzer rue, i mean c'mon how can you skip them.

I only played a few games in my RU 251 before I misplaced my crew.  I'm currently grinding out a new crew for it. But it was a good tank and I was really starting to like it. |
