That is my absolute favorite part of this game, and the only thing that keeps it fresh for me. Using the difficult/medium tanks, and making them work. The only people to whom this doesn't seem enjoyable are people who are more concerned about farming WN8 so they can stick their stats in their signature and participate in threads about being purple. You have to wonder what their WN8's would look like if they didn't abuse the fuck out of the easiest to use/OP tanks in the game. But then, who cares at all. I don't understand why people can't play games for fun anymore. Seems most folk's enjoyment any more is derived from stats. Stats which mean nothing. It seems people who are not purple misinterpret the amount of care purples actually give for being purple. Almost every purple I've talked to is just good at the game. They don't play different tanks to "maintain" their stats. They don't avoid "bad" tanks for the sake of their stats. Some, like me, avoid shit tanks because they're shit. Why would I want to play a terrible to mediocre tank if I have great tanks or at the least charismatic tanks I could be playing? For example, I consider the M48 Patton and Fv4202 to be "charismatic" in the way that they are cool tanks that are fun to play that just aren't good. Your definition of what is "good" and/or "charismatic" might vary but everyone does this as far as I'm aware. You don't need to slander better (Better as in, blue, purple, etc, not better than yourself, this is not a dig.) players because they don't play the tanks you would. And before you say it, yes, saying all a player cares about is their stats is not a good thing to say to someone. I don't know. To challenge yourself? When you're among the best players in the game, how does it not bore the sweet holy jesus out of you to simply play only the good tanks? And I wasn't slandering, for the record.  I think anyone that spams the forum with every post they make, with a signature with their stats in it..."cares." Turboclicker just in case you didn't know you can multi-quote (if you're using the desktop site). Just click on the cog next to a post and click 'select post', do this with all but the last post you want to quote, for the last one just lick the quote button and all the selected posts will be quoted

When i was helping test it, it was alright, but then again it was firefly vs firefly 99% of the time, i'm still probably gonna go for it i want the Tier 8 and 9 TD.
Much rather do that line then the actual low tier TDs.

I do not need my tank fighting against me as well as my entire team, the enemy team, the game itself, and possibly the map. Fair enough. I don't care about he winning. I play my best game possible. If I can pull out a win with a major contribution from a "underperforming tank" ...it's what makes the game worth playing for me. I can't control all the other things any more than you do, obviously. I guess I derive my satisfaction differently. Cheers. |
