I know that WG has started using BOTs, but does anyone know what tiers they are at? Is it just low tiers below say T5, or are they in all tiers depending on how many players are on the server. I don't play that late anymore, but there are a few T5s with derps- M4, Pnzr 4H that I enjoyed playing that I wouldn't mind running a few games here and there in. I just don't feel like playing BOTS.

I'm pretty sure I remember them saying they went up to tier 5, but considering they denied their existence for weeks before they finally admitted they had bots at all, I wouldn't be surprised if they were lying about what tiers they had them running in. I could easily see them feeding up to tier 7 with bots at this point, since most players seemed to sit in tiers 8-10, and now they've fractured their small playerbase even further between the different modes. |

I thought I saw somewhere where some players were playing very late in higher tiers and the majority of the players were BOTS making it easier to earn marks, which I might add are noticeable more difficult now. |

Worth noting, in cold war bots don't care about how well hidden you are, if they have a line of sight, they will shoot you, smoke and foliage or neither.

Worth noting, in cold war bots don't care about how well hidden you are, if they have a line of sight, they will shoot you, smoke and foliage or neither. I remember hearing that there are quite a few bots in CW. I haven't played a single battle yet and don't have any current plans to do so. I understand it's a good silver earner, but I have 59M silver and don't care for true vision. |

I've not seen any bots in WW2 in higher tiers. I thought they were all down low- like tiers 1-4 or something like that.
Don't play much cold war, but I have seen some there, and have heard people talking about them being around, especially at late hours.

I’m not positive about this but I want to say I saw bots on WW2 mode while playing T20 early one morning a couple weeks ago. If I’m remembering right I switched to EU server because of this.

I haven’t played much lately and on my alt account when I do. But I remember thinking it was a rather higher tier than expected. Mornings for me as the house gets too busy later in the day for gaming. It’s my couple hours of quiet time so I’ll get a few games in for fun. I don’t have the stamina, or the will to stay up late to play any more. Always see them if I’m playing IIIs, or IVs tho. |

Been looking for this on the forum. I think the thread with the statement/admission from WG got derailed and deleted. Bots are in all 3 era's of CW and they go to tier 8 in WWII mode for sure, maybe higher when needed.
WG changed how the bots are named so it's not as easy tell if the tank pushing you out of cover is a poorly programmed bot or an asshole. What's worse if it turns out to be a bot you can't report them with the in game feature and sure as shit have to be careful how the subject is approached on the forums.

Also I think in the official forum I am sure they said bots would be used to fill out teams when there is a low population on the server but I can not find the thread. If I have a battle like that again I will try to remember to post it.

I imagine the bots are probably better than a lot of the player base used to be so it must be a huge boon to the game surely

I saw a picture someone posted of a tier 10 game and there were some filling the lobby. Personally I've never seen them at high tiers in WWII. I probably play at times when there are enough people in the server. |
