That should be really cool when it is done. I have done them in the past and recently just picked up 2. I am currently working on a Tamiya M41 WB and I also have a Type 59. Not sure how they will turn out, as it has been awhile since I have done one. But if I take my time, I think it should be good. We will see. I'll be interested to see your progress.

Wow, that looks really good. I've never been too keen to attempt something as big as 1/35, especially with all the PE and resin detailing, but yours looks to be coming along nicely. I mostly do 1/72 and 1/100, so nothing too complicated.

No such thing as a noob again  Sort of like riding a bike, as they say. Every time you build a new model, you gain knowledge. I have been building for over 40 years (off and on when time permits) and I love it. I always try new things out and if they don't work...well, I try again. I would suggest going to the Finescale Models forum. Great tips and just a cool place to hang to get ideas. I actually had to sell 1/4 of my stash, because there was no way I was building all those kits. I love collecting them though, my wife sees it differently. She suggested I get rid of some..which I did. I hate her now. (well...not really) |
