This came to mind and I thought it could be a funny and interesting game to play.
I'll go first. I'll just share everything on and in mine.
Lamp, alarm clock, pencil case with several drawing pens and pencils, lip gloss tube, used gift cards, forehead thermometer, ipad, lint roller, scissors, fidget spinner, 2 decks of cards, guitar picks, usb drive, 3x5 index cards, empty icebreaker candy container, 4 way pocket screw driver, vaseline, hair bands, cards I've received from family, 2 plastic forks in wrappers, hymnal, portable hard drive, cd player, 2 other empty containers, spiral notebook, headphones, empty boxes my electronic devices came in, a couple photos of family, inspirational quote of the day book, bookmarks

I don't actually have a nightstand. I do, however, have two shelves of differing sizes on either headside of my bed.
On my right side, I have a desklamp, an iron cast model car, real old fashioned and a glasses case that houses a gift from my aunt; a pair of glasses that under certain lighting conditions, shows creepy bulging eyes.
On my left side practically everything is covered in dust.
I have 2 examples of pottery I made, one a box, the other a bowl. The box has a large collection of old watches for some reason, the bowl a deck of playing cards and leftover bits from my office desk I ordered from argos, just in case.
Between them sits a gift from an interweb friend, a Minecraft creeper, plastic. It has unfortunately had a leg broken off but still carries the diamond ore that it came with, along with all my necklaces.
Dudes pretty blinged up.
I also have a Lego Halo Grunt and a pencil.

That's where my dad kept his gun too. Not sure what kind it was being a security guard, but just remember him teaching me about respecting guns when he was cleaning it one day. Didn't know they had Shooting Illustrated. I don't actually have a nightstand. I do, however, have two shelves of differing sizes on either headside of my bed. Your model car sounds neat and it's cool they have Lego Halo. Lol

On it I've got an alarm clock, watch box with my 7 watches and a light, in the drawer I've got my dog tags from when I was in the Royal Navy, a baseball and a few Cuban cigars. The baseball is for the baseball bat behind the table, our laws are weird and of you have a bat and no ball it can be classed as a weapon.

Lol. That is weird about having to have a baseball too. Do they have to be in the same room? I also have a wooden baseball bat, but it is for the purpose of protecting myself if necessary. It would probably be better if I kept it closer to where I sleep.

Not sure about it being in the same room but do just in case, mine is for self defence too.

I have a lamp, pens, power board with two USB chargers attached with cables coming from them,a Google home mini, a ceramic circular dish which looks like an oversized ashtray without the bits to hold the cigarette or a miniature pie dish. It contains between $5.00 and $20.00 of loose change, and my car keys. Next to that, there's some pens, 3 cage nuts, one nut bolt, some leaflets and my wallet. It's a dumping ground for emptying my pockets when changing. I have a WOTC bottle opener designed to resemble a 50 ca round, I also have a spare watch which comes out every now and then but atm is back in it's box. There's also a a spot for my IPAD to stand when it's charging. It's facing my bed so allows me to have my head turned over on the pillow and view it's content. Mostly used for reading books.

The baseball is for the baseball bat behind the table, our laws are weird and of you have a bat and no ball it can be classed as a weapon. I'd expect you'd be fine to keep just the bat without it breaching any laws. They aren't illegal to own and not use as far as i know. You could claim, you were going to take up baseball so bought a bat but it didn't work out. Although not typically stored in the bedroom, I suspect you'd be fine with a few rather sharp gardening implements, like a short handled shovel or spade, different knives, crow bar/iron bar/tyre lever or kitchen/BBQ utensils designed for rending flesh and stabbing. The grey area would be transporting through public spaces, a cricket bat would probably blend in better but probably less versatile.

Oh interesting. I didn't know they had bottle openers like that. I found a video of one being used and looks pretty neat. I'd probably put one like that on display rather than using it. Wargaming North America had a competition last year, instant prizes, generally the competitions are North America or Europe only and, I don't enter lotteries or usually bother with competitions with prizes. I'll enter charity raffles but not for prizes. I had no intention of entering. However, I was communicating with a clan tanker who was going on about some of the prizes and asked if i'd won anything because his mate had won a patch and another mate had won something else. I think there were XBOX's T-shirts, backpacks, a bunch of stuff. He talked me into entering since prizes were instant and Australia was included so I did, the bullet bottle opener thing came up and they sent it out to my place. You're right about it's ornamental value, It's as far as i know, a 1:1 scale replica of a 50 calibre BMG round. I'd have preferred a copper finish on the pretend glued in bullet instead of polished gold/brass/stainless or whatever it is and would have preferred a brass finish on the casing instead of the painted green but I certainly am not one to knock a gift horse in the mouth. I tried using it a couple of times but the lip on the bottle opening part is a bit thick and the angle is a bit off so doesn't catch the bottle top well and tends to slip which doesn't make it very practical. It's not made from genuine brass casing and die cast which was slightly disappointing but it was free and resembles a 12.7X99mm round. Ornamentally, it would look right at home on one of my bookshelves where I home my RC tank and a couple of RC helicopters.
