First and foremost, yes, I am fully aware that CVs at "Tier VIII" are a losing proposition for the most part. Especially in Coop. But I just had to pick her up as I am a masochist. Hell, I like playing Italian cruisers.
I'll get this out of the way right up front: Only pyros need apply. Patient pyros at that. If you prefer to kill things with alpha strikes, she will be about as much fun as a groin pull or a dry colonoscopy.
No torpedo planes. None. I know it says this in the description, but it needs to be a pop-up every time you select her in port. Honestly, I'd be ok with this if the bombs and rockets had any kind of reliable penetration, but WG has RNGed that so much that you can count on 50% of your hits to cruisers not penetrating.
With that said, she makes the best scout in the game for early recon. Her birds are fast and somewhat survivable. Once you get used to her accuracy (not easy given WG artificially slowed down her bombs), you can get a good number of hits, and her fire starting comes into play. Little White Mouse gave her a two word preview of "Sky Conqueror", so you can imagine just how many fires she can set in randoms. (Coop, not so much.)
My best game is attached below. It is a loss caused by my inability to alpha strike my bot counterpart to death. It came down to Indomitable vs Indomitable and, with the CV ability to kill fires, and the armored decks, we spent 7 minutes trying to kill each other with no result.
We lost because one of the three humans on my team was less capable than half the suicidal bots.
