Yay!  Or Nay? After getting it I saw that it takes up the Consealment upgrade slot. So now I'm not so excited. I'm really used to everything the way it is. Also I already bought a smoke generator upgrade with coal, When I used premium smoke generators I literally spend the whole battle in a cloud of smoke becuase the cool down isn't very long. I wait maybe a minute before I start shooting again. sometimes I open fire without smoke but only late game and WASDing like a mad man. So unleess someone here can convince me that it'll totally worth it in every way I'm not going to mount it. I still have a sour taste in my mouth from grinding the space event last year for the legendary module for my Wooster. Same story, it took up my consealment module and I ended up selling it after going through all the work to get it. Then buying another radar module to replace it (I had originally put one I one in it, seems more useful too. To me stealth is super important. I also noticed on the forum, in Update 9.2 they will be redoing those and I guess everyone gets to regrind their modules... MAkes me want to tell WG to leave the game alone. Just stop fucking with it and it will balance itself out. An artist has to stop adding paint to a painting at some point or he screws up the picture. Just like a chef has to stop adding seasoning to the meal or it has "too much". Anybody else feel this way? |

What does the legendary module do?
And from what I understand, anyone who already has a legendary module will get to keep it. Anyone who hasn't completed their missions by that time is fucked and has all their progress reset.

On the Mino it's a Smoke Generator upgrade. It reduces detectabilty range by 5% (my consealment upgrade adds 10%) Increases shell dispersion by 10% (kinda like camo) and the action time of the cunsumable goes to 150% (my current is at 30% with the smoke generator upgrade from the armory) but the dispersion time is reduced 15% (currently only 5% reduction).
with a premium smoke charge my action time is 19.5
dispersion time 107.35
and reload time of 106seconds
So right now I'm at 139.75 seconds dispersion time with the legendary module it goes all the way to 268 seconds.
Action time is currently 18.5 with legendary it goes to 16.5 seconds.
Consealment is currently 9.5 it will go to 10.01 *these numbers are detectabilty by sea
Okay wow! Fucking math! Thanks Kaito now I'm really reconsidering this. It would take getting used too, I already have trouble timing my stops in smoke as it is. Also I'd lose my .5 km of stealth torping which I do use and have actually made it wirk a couple of times. That extra smoke time though. I also don't have the smoke screen expert skill which would help others. Thats more time to attract torps and people seem to be good at firing into smoke. I'm still gonna think on it for now. Alot more to consider though. I'm just comfy with how it is now and I don't like change too much.

On the Wooster it boost all your consumables to a longer action time. I didn't feel the benefit.
On the GK I think it's a faster reload? Not sure and doubt I'll have time to grind it out. If I do I'll lose money as I don't have a perma camo for my GK either.

Well my math was wrong. Not 268 seconds of smoke but still awhile in smoke.I retrained my commander too. He now has PT, SSE, JOAT, AR, LS, SI, SE, and CE.
I swapped out the original smoke generator for Aiming systems too.
I guess if I still wanted stealth torp I could increase torp speed but I'll try Jack of all trades first.
Got 100k damage in my first coop testing it out! Guns are mord accurate and they'll be firing longer since I have more smoke time.

Apparently you can mount both smoke modules on the mino. My captain only goes by Chong now. lol It also brought my consealment down too. I have just a sliver of stealth torp abilty too. lol
