I don't really onow how this will effect the Hak's bombers since they all usually died from flak before they reached their target.
DDs will be even harder to kill with Kaga now, not that it was easy before. Since they made rockets so useless I used the bombers more.
Still no regrets about selling my CVs.

Fixing the wide spread for Exeter torps too.
I just miss the 7.2km AA bubble my Atlanta used to have.

Fixing the wide spread for Exeter torps too. I just miss the 7.2km AA bubble my Atlanta used to have. I haven't played enough matches with planes to see a difference in mine. I wondering just how much is needed for an AA spec though. I don't have an AA trained captain in my Wichita and all my upgrades are for the main guns and firing systems. I still shoot down plenty of planes, sometimes more than the rest of the team. Also even if you have an AA spec it doesn't mean you're untouchable. You will still shoot down about the same amount and the CV will get a few planes in and drop ordinance. I've put an AA spec captain and a stealth/survival captain in the same ship (Alaska) with not much of a difference in results. I shot down the same amount of planes and still took the same amount of damage with both. I only saw a difference in the stat numbers but didn't notice it in battle. I ended up going with the stealth/survival build in the end.

I just was killed by a Midway after destroying his ship. He died but had a torp squadron up and attacked my Bismarck 3 times after he was dead, hit me with all of the drops and killed me.
I had zero idea that a CV could still control his planes and attack after the ship was destroyed

In Coop, if the CV is the last ship alive on the team, as soon as the ship dies the match is over regardless of any airborne squadrons. Same in scenarios.
If your CV dies with squadrons in the air and other teammates are still alive, you have something like 2-2.5 minutes to complete your strikes before the game boots you to spectator mode.

I get 3 minutes. I usually try and get revenge on whoever killed me or pick a weak target or spot depending on the situation.

Makes sense. Once the planes are launched, they don't need the carrier to tell them to attack.
