I know there's still time for changes but I think I'm out of patience. I went ahead and traded in the Hak and the Shokaku for xp and silver. Midway is next. We'll see after tommorow. Tier 6 is the beginning of the downhill slope of CV enjoyment. If you think bottom tier is rough, wait til you get to Tier 10. Its no fun at all and there's no reward really. I'll keep my Kaga and my Saipan to remind me why Tier 10 isn't worth the trouble. Maybe I'm just a potatoe and need to git gud, if so then I'll do so in a lower tier. But hey, on the bright side I'm not afraid to play randoms anymore!

I will probably never play a CV again. No aspect of the new gameplay appeals to me. maybe once things settle out I may consider it again, but I doubt it. It was fun while it lasted.
Random games earn so much more xP and credits, its insane. Human enemies are more unpredictable, but at the same time they often make mistakes that you can capitalize on. The hate messages for deleting a broadside cruiser who wasn't paying attention are the reason I wake up in the morning. Sooooo much salt.

I'm going to try out carriers when the Brits drop. I want Audacious. A month ago I couldn't wait for the RN CVs. Now I don't really care. I have a captain ready for them, even planned on free xping up the line a little. Now I think I'm just going to grind my way up that one and enjoy the lower tiers. I'll save my free xp for Alaska, maybe get Nelson with whats left. |
