The good news is that they show they are willing to move a premium for one tier to another, so there is hope for the Abruzzi. The bad news is they are willing to nerf a premium after they sold it for cash. The only other time I remember this happening in WoWs is the screwing they gave the Blys by taking away OWSF after they made it a selling point.
I agree that the official forum is overwrought, but they do have some good points especially considering the GC is now going to have to go face-to-face with Tier VIIIs of all sorts. As good as her guns are for Tiver 4-5-6-7, I have concerns about Tier 8s..

I feel like she's underprotected to be facing Alabama, Massachusetts, and the other 16" armed battleships, along with a bevy of fast firing, 8" armed cruisers, whose HE will simply smash through the deck. It's going to require some careful balancing to make it work.

They'll need to buff the shit out of the AA is she'll be facing tier VIII CVs.
I mean, I understand it is OP, but it'll need more than a bit more armor to not be useless.

I'll need someone to tell me when the idiocy stops. SPecifically talking about the CV rework and using the live server as a public test.
I've not stepped foot into the game in over 2 weeks - once I realized that they were going to use the live server as guinea pigs, I stopped playing. I'm not going to ram my head against the wall over and over and respec my captains ten ways to sunday in a guessing game until they can get their shit together.
From watching some vids and live streams, it looks like an unadulterated shit show right now.
I thought the WoWs devs were above this kind of WGCB-esque shenanigans. It's amateur bullshit.

Concerning for sure, but I'll find a way to make it work IF they do decide to turn her into a tier 6. I dont play Gulio that much, I prefer Revolutsiya, but maybe now I will more, especially if she can be used in operations.

Its really not bad, I just took my Massechusetts out and only shot down 8 planes. I was the last live BB and the CV didn't come after me like I was expecting. The random battles I've played have been pretty nice actually. Also theres less double cv matches too.
Also they really didn't have a choice with doing the live server test. They had three public test before they went live. If folks were so concerned about the future of the game then maybe more should participate in the test. With only 675 people at its highest when I was testing its kinda hard to get good test results. Sure they could give better rewards like coal and steel but 3 days of premium and a bunch of flags is pretty handy.

Bismarck would obliterate a GC. You cant outrun it, or really damage it, and its secondaries would fuck your day up before you even have a chance. GC doesn't have particularly great armour.

The hakuryu made 8+ mm unplayable do to an exploit in the insane amount of torpedo bombers it was able to get in the air. Made playing DDs all but impossible. Had to respect my captains for a cross between a a full AA build and stealth not fun at all |
