So I have recently unlocked and played the ISU and have been having quite a lot of fun with it. However I'm looking at the 704 and it looks pretty meh. The gun looks great, it's just the chassis. It doesn't look like it
has the best mobility, and the armour looks pretty bad.
Any of the you 704 drivers, is it as bad as I'm making it look, or am I completely wrong?
Id also like to throw in, does the tank get really boring grinding out 300,000 XP?

Yes it does get boring, for me the ISU was SOOOOOO much better

Just some of the tanks I face hugged with the 704 and got away with it:
AT15, T30, E75, IS3 and E3.
Yes, an E3. Of course it was late in the match and he may have been out of premium shells, but I was able to take his gun out of the game. He bounced two shells off of me and my team killed him.
The mobility is lacking though. You'll need clutch braking for sure. The BL-10 feels better on this platform, but you lose some traverse and it's still the BL-10. Prepare to troll with it, and be trolled by it.
The camo is pretty good. I was able to pull off some passive scouting in it, but even with muffled shot and bush kemping, firing that massive cannon gets you detected every time.
Angled and positioned correctly you will bounce thousands of damage. Do not just sit there trading shots if you are detected! Use hard cover, go full trapezoid and wiggle while you reload.
As with the ISU, support sniper/ambush killer, but when the shit goes down and they come for you, dont be afraid to charge the aggressor and face hug him to death.
It's a fine tank and can do massive damage, even in tier ten battles. Keep your camo net, rammer and optics/vents/gld setup from the ISU.

The grind went by really fast for me, the OPness kind of overshadows the long grind.

Better rate of fire, dispersion, aim time, and gun arc. In fact, almost all the stats are improved. The armor seems to work better than the numbers suggest, too. Peek over a small hill and the increased angle will get you a surprising number of bounces. The biggest downside is that the alpha isn't as impressive anymore.

Id also like to throw in, does the tank get really boring grinding out 300,000 XP? Ok the 704, I honestly loved this tank the gun is reliable unlike the ISU i felt like i missed 99% of the time. The Mobility isn't amazing but good enough, to be fair you don't want to be moving alot, the gun is good enough to Snipe with and the armour is OKAY if you angle between shots you have chances against 8>9 sometimes a miracle against 10s. The grind to the 268 is very long i think the longest, it bored me after a while but it's worth it the Obj 268 is stupidly good. Of course, it's a TD. I found the 704 better then the ISU, ISU was slow, unreliable armour and terrible camo rating which i forgot to mention, the 704 camo is amazing get them perks and you'll be doing good. |

I Just got my isu Fully upgraded last night it's so good now it's pretty much a downhill Grind from here and I'm hyped for the 704 aswell can't wait !! |

I found the mobility on the 704 to slightly better than the ISU. It has lower theoretical top speed, but slightly better HP/ton. In practice, I found it difficult to get the ISU up to is theoretical top speed. Their mobility is about the same.
704 gets better gun stats, camo, and armour. It's basically an improved ISU, but a tier higher.
