I'm not sure if this would be of interest to anyone but WW2 tanks show up in the strangest of places. Who'd have thought country Victoria, - Australia would have a few WW2 tanks just lying around in a paddock rusting away. Not even fenced in. I heard a rumour of such a thing, just off the Mallee Highway entering Murrayville from the East and it would appear that the rumours are correct after tracking down on google street view at least three wrecks are visible.. Since it's street view, Limited detail but there's an M3 Grant and Matilda 2 Chassis and possible an MK III turret stacked on top of the M3 Grant in the foreground and an M3 Grant in the background with what may well be another Matilda 2 Chassis next to it. There's a stack of other bits to the right of that too. Not a military site, no idea where they came from or why they are there and oddly, no one has acquired them for a restoration project but they've clearly been there a while. <iframe width="600" height="450" src="https://www.google.com/maps/embed?pb=!4v1546914066798!6m8!1m7!1sZdTdF99s8f5EzDNL84mcIA!2m2!1d-35.26336678648823!2d141.1873237671157!3f157.27!4f0!5f3.325193203789971" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" style="border:0"></iframe>While this is in the same country as where I live, the location is about 1800 miles away so not exactly close to me. Anyone else come across anything like this? Found a video on youtube.
