Ladies and gentleman I would like to elicit your opinions on a matter I'm currently grappling with that's tonks related. I have gone up the the German legacy TD line(JGPZ E-100 line) and I have enjoyed it for the most part. I believe the only tank that tried my patience was the Jagdtiger. That had more to do with how big of a departure it was from the JagdPanthers and how slow it was In any case I have learn how to use the damn thing however I am not all that damn happy with it(though I am reconsidering selling it after a recent string of games I have had in it) its big, the armor is questionable at best when I use it, and god help me if I have to go up hill or turn that big overgrown piece of equipment around to go and reinforce a flank for team stupid...good fucking god help me. As you can tell it was more of an adjustment thing with the Jagdtiger, but it has grown on me enough that I do have some fondness for it...however I have moved my crew back into the Jagdpanther II since I enjoyed it more. So my question is quite simple. I have played against Jaegeroo's since the beta. Once I learned the weak spots on them I have had no issues fighting them. Its one of the few tier X TD's that doesn't provoke me to utter a string of curses directed at the machine, the player, or Wargaming. Given the current effectiveness of the T110E3 and company...is it even worth it to get this thing? I have knocked out the xp for it(thus explaining why my crew is back in the Jagdpanther II) however not to sure if I want to get it given the current meta with Tier X TD's. I just feel like the T110E3(using it as an example) does the same thing, but with more dpm, smaller size, better mobility in comparison to the Jaegeroo while still providing good armor. Obviously the question is directed more toward Jaegeroo owners but I'm fine with input from non Jaegeroo owners.

It's a novelty, if you want it for fun I'd say go for it. It'll probably be my last tier X I go for but I won't grind for it until I get enough free xp to get to last package on jpanther 2, so It'll be a while. It's just a worse version of a deathstar, but its heat is pretty good, it has highest pen gun in game I think.

I don't have one but even though it's not nice to get slapped by, it's not one of the really scary ones to face.
The ones who owns the Jägeroo on my friend list rarely plays it, apparently it's boring compared to other TDs.
You will never know until you try though but if the Jagtiger feels slow...

The JTiger is a monster! How could you insult my child like that lol, the Jagaroo is sooo much fun, HEAT rounds are great anything flat or close to it you will almost NEVER bounce, 420 pen that RNG can roll up to 525 penetration, that's a shit load. The gun can be trolling but it is not boring the way I play it, the only thing that sucks is arty. If you don't like the JTiger you will never like the Jagaroo, the JTiger is a lot more consistent at sniping, that's when it's armor will bounce everything and you're gun shines, no body wants to lose ~560 every 9.4 seconds

I think Sir Foch did a video on it. I know he's a PC player and their TD's are nerfed, but you get the picture:
Its pretty much an E-100 with no turret and a much bigger gun. You go with the heavies and punch holes in everything in front of you. Also you have lol420blazeit penetration on your HEAT shells if you don't even like to aim. its a great tank in the right hands, but I can see how it could get boring over time.

Ya! It's still a lot of fun. For the alpha the gun handling is great. The armor is useable, but fussy. Most I've ever blocked in it was 8k. I would go for it.

Sold mine, got sick of the troll pen on the AP and the .34 accuracy being an outright lie.

It's my 2nd tier 10 and only tier 10 TD at the moment. I would say, overall it is still worth it. I know it isn't as much of a game-changer as some of the other top TDs but when things go right, you can still carry a game. The armor can sometimes be troll but in general it is pretty decent. The gun when it is on, is such a beast. It's just the odd game when it feels like you bounce every other shot or miss. Those are the times when I rage on that TD. The mobility is obviously not great but somehow you will learn to adjust, even if you don't like slow tanks. It is really a pretty easy TD to play. My best games come with me rolling with heavies and just advancing. But map depending, you can sit back and snipe a bit too. I would never recommend against the Jageroo, but I just would forewarn that it is a solid overall TD, but not as much of an impact as some of the other popular tier 10s.

I liked the Jagdtiger better. The rate of fire and mobility (lol) made it easier to impact games. I tell anyone who will listen that the 12.8cm L/61 is the best gun in the game.

I haven't used my JPZ E-100 in several months.
I'm waiting to get my Leo 1 and I'm moving it's crew into the Leo 1.
It was fun for a while, then just became boring.

It's more mobile that you all day, it goes the same speed as the JTiger, just turns slower

I see the advantages of it if our tier X td's are balanced...but I keep coming back to how unbalanced they are so I have a tough time almost justifying the purchase of a Jaegeroo. Heck I feel more effective in the Jagdtiger just sort of lumbering over the shoulder of my heavy tank team mates a lobbing shots into people's faces...think I might pass till WG actually balances things(doubtful -_-)

Balance? TD's? Ha. never going to happen because "console is different from PC". You should still get it though. it isn't like the most super OP TD because the gun is trolly, the lower plate is gigantic, and the armour is butter to gold rounds.

I'm telling you, man, it is worth getting. It will troll you, no doubt, but you will have some beast games. I had a game 2 weeks ago or so for 8k damage and it felt like literally every shot I took just sliced the enemy in half. And it was IS7, E50Ms etc. When it's on, it is a hilarious time. I loved the Jagdtiger and it was a keeper for me, but the Jageroo is fun just because if you high-roll a couple shots, it just melts people.

It's very good, only drawbacks for me were the sluggishness, low top speed and the size that will make you a target for arty every game. Besides the teammates that let you down in the ~20 seconds of your reload and the reasons above its a pretty good tank imo
