That’s impressive John. Not sure how the rest of the team was only capable of 5 kills between them. Does pools require shitty team mates?

It's a combination of a few things, but shitty players on both teams plus a lot of luck are essential. If you watch the last few kills on that video after I had gained some distance from the T29, he was shooting HE, allowing me to get 2/3 shots for his 1 and keep him tracked most likely further frustrating him.

I must find the time to watch and study the video more closely. In your case, there was a bit of skill involved which no doubt helped but regardless of how skilled one is, i'd often wondered how any one player could be exposed to so many reds and be able to get a kill shot on them without the greens messing that up. I was awarded a mid tier Kolobanov once, I was consistently crap, was in a very poorly equipped Churchill 1 with untrained crew, but lucky in pretty much all areas and the last 5 died horribly as a result. You're enjoying the Absolution presumably? I mostly get tapped on the end of tier VIII/VII battles in mine.

And yes, shitty teammates are the key to pools/rosenieli medals. How else would you kill 10-14 people by yourself? That was the question but the answer isn't as clear cut as just shitty players plus the medal doesn't require one to kill 10-14 people by ones self, it just requires kill shots. Kills tend to be a side effect of putting damage up and picking ones targets too. Bearing in mind that the total combined damage done by John was 4583(that's spotting and tracking damage too I think) and we had a tier VII heavy in the midst, while I don't know the entire health pool of the reds, I would expect that the rest of the green's performance to have restricted John's performance to under half of the reds combined health pool, yet at the same time provided opportunity to gain 2/3 of the kills. Part of the reason for my question is that I've personally found it increasingly difficult to get kills for dishing out damage regardless if I've dished out a decent amount of damage - some of that is for skill reasons but I've found that luck and RNG is more to blame. For example, arguably a similar MM, me in a mid tier Heavy mixing it up with Tier VIIs with relatively inept team mates on both sides, myself included. I put up 2250ish damage and in typical to me true form caused the team to lose, 2 kills. That's an OK performance relative to the rest of the team even if I couldn't clutch the win but the direct damage of the next 2 green players below me combined and they were in tier VII heavies, was less than what I did and they got 2.5X more kills between them. Someone on the other team got 7 kills, doing less than 500 more damage than me. xboxdvr.com/gamer/test777777/screenshot/11053433. If John had been in the bulldog, the greens probably would have won but John probably still couldn't have done enough to deny the rest of the greens at least 8 kills, that's lady luck's doing. There's an extraordinarily amount of luck in the equation and while inept team mates may be a component, I don't know that they are key. In John's case - they did more than half of the reds damage. Inept reds are probably more key along with John's skill.

I finally got around to watching the videos. Thanks again for posting them. I was amazed at how fast and accurate the aiming and shooting seemed and how consistently you penned. I assume your crews are trained John but no idea how you seem to consistently hit and pen the target even with trained crews.
It would have been great to have been able to see how the battle was from your perspective, rather than from the replay perspective, I was interested to know when you were snapshotting, when you were aiming and what you were aiming at, how long aiming took, what minimap view you were using and when you changed it and what areas of the map you were moving to and from which was difficult to determine for me.
I noticed your ability to know when to reposition early to gain a superior angle rather than attempt to engage from a disadvantageous position. That's probably one of the key differences between joe average and a player of your calibre. A pity we couldn't see how often and where and when you were repositioning.
Actually, now I think about it, I'm pretty sure you can expand the minimap during the replay. Would you be able to do that for next time please? Showing that might be disadvantageous to you but if you are not overly concerned about the disadvantage, it would help folk like myself with map knowledge and I'd really like to see how someone like yourself moves around the map and where you might reposition to and to see hotspots.
Both teams seemed to be relatively evenly matched, with no team really dominating excepting your presence of course which was really what gave the Greens a victory in the end.
Thanks for sharing.

GG but damn do I hate that fucking thing, Durrrrrrrrrr lets take the Minuteman and make it a tier 6 urrrrr durr. Are they trying to scare away new players? A tier 4,5 and some 6s can't do a motherfucking thing to it and that gun.........WHAT THE FUCK WERE THEY THINKING Sometimes I wish I could be in one of those dev's heads for 1 day. Imagine feeling that fucking stupid. And the cherry on top is it's a earn tank, so every shitbag has one. And for shits and giggles if you thought you could play your 7 or 8 to shit on one? Well the Brick is now here to shit right back on you. i swear if this job i'm getting works out I am going to become the biggest wallet warrior you've ever seen.

Well the Brick is now here to shit right back on you. i swear if this job i'm getting works out I am going to become the biggest wallet warrior you've ever seen. I'm not sure what the issue is. It's a tier VI heavy tank. tier IVs should have problems with it, so should some medium or light tier Vs but they should be able to track it and most certainly out manoeuvre it. Yeah it's got a decent gun, it may as well be a TD gun but turret and track rotation is really bad. I bought mine about a month back since I didn't know there was an Earn Op for it on and have killed 14 of them in the past month several at tier and one or two at tier V all with non premium rounds. Tier Vs were Captured KV1 and Churchill III and possibly Churchill I and I think I even took it one out with one of the PZ IV variants. Tier VIs were British Churchill and Tog and a Jackson I think. It's no match for tier VII like the Tiger or T29 unless, i suppose, unless the person is shooting "HE" such as in John's match. It sees tier VIII a lot too and it's really not a competition. I've been killed pretty much every time I drive the thing usually by a group of lights. I actually find the idea of light tanks being able to kill heavy tanks of higher tier with limited risk ridiculous. It's a bit of a peeve of mine. Light tanks shouldn't be the Bane of a heavy tanks existence when it comes to being killed by them, they should be annoying and frustrating but Light tanks should be there to spot and harass, troll and track, occassionally getting one through, not killers. Way too many light tanks doing way too much direct damage to heavily armoured tanks of higher tier in my opinion. Don't get me started on the tier X light tanks.
