My Knight has gun rammer, wet ammo rack and vents. My regular cromwell is the same except no wet ammo rack.
Vents should just be standard, who doesn't run vents?

I think I have zero skilled crews in mine, I'm not sure vents does much. I've put in probably the worst possible combination of equipment. I think I've gone spall liner, optics and camo net.

It all depends on your play style. Camo nets only work after you've been sitting still for 15 seconds if I remember right (you can still move your turret). Spall liner is used in slower arty target tanks. Optics are still good though becuase you get that +10% veiw range. Vents add to all your crew skills, but I think even if they have no skills it will help your reload time. My knowledge might be a little dated, just a heads up.

My play style varies depending on tier but unless I’m top tier, I tend not to be too up front, preferring defensive unless I spot a solo heavy or we need a scout. Medium spall liner offers 25% protection from ramming and explosions and I think that means HE too plus 25% chance to protect crew from critical damage. I don’t really know whether 25% protection equates to 1 in 4 chances of stopping damage or reduced damage or 25% more armour or how it works. Like most things WG, it’s vague and ambiguous and for all I know, doesn’t even do anything despite the description.

R35T..I run my Knight and Cromwell B with Rammer, vents optics since vert stabs aren't an option. anything I can do to boost view range and tame the gun. I'm also running food instead of a fire extinguisher (your mileage may vary with this, but I haven't been set on fire enough to justify switching). I wouldn't say I'm a expert Cromwell driver, but I'm near my 2nd mark on the Knight (Shagwell).

Optics, rammer and vents has always been my equipment for the Crowmwells. It's an active tank, if you're sitting sill too long in it you aren't using it's advantages. It's far too in accurate to play the sniper role but doesn't have bad view range at all. Vents helps with the view range as well as optics which you need as it needs to be a ninja, use that awesome mobility to harrass and annoy the reds from multiple angles rammed speak for itself really. It's a wonderful tank to actively spot when bottom tier utilising the optics and vents and finding your victims when top tier. Hope this helps

Do you guys have any equipment tips? An equipment thread? Where? What? I need to quit taking breaks from WoT and the forums! Optics, Rammer and GLD. I wish I could put Vert Stabs on like the Easy 8...
