I still remember I was running full speed in my fully upgraded conq on mountain pass going to the 1 line from North spawn, hugging the mountain wall furthest away from the middle and next thing I know Some donkey (M53/M55) Beard0911. I lost my cool about arty after that. How the hell did he 1 shot me while I was full speed ahead!!!! The one I remember most that showed how stupid RNG was to have on Arty. 250-300m distance between me and an M41, he's going full speed down a hill and turning towards me, I'm going full speed, so literally his entire reticule is covering the whole screen and I'm going almost 60, he fired. He hit for a one-shot. Like here sits one of the most inaccurate at Tier V, doing everything to make his tank as inaccurate as possible, and he hits directly. stupid damned Muppets that run arty! |

That was more or less the worst bit. If he sat there and fired say, 5 shots in that and eventually hit, fine. That was the first shot he fired at me, since it was the only time I was in any position he could shoot at me. Like less than 30 seconds actually in any kind of position to get shot at by arty, with an arty doing everything to make his bloom as big as possible and me moving as fast as possible, dead on hit. Shit like that simply shouldn't be possible at all, especially on a tank that has like 700 alpha. |

Recipe for a successfull thread...make it about anti arty.
I even hate arty when I'm playing an op tier X td and they shoot me. I forget that I'm spamming gold in a broken tank as soon as arty hits me. Things don't bother me when I'm playing a cheap tank like an add hole but arty wi still make me rage lol.

A response to the Arty hate....
I <3 arty. As a mediocre player I appreciate having a big ass gun backing me up when I invariably put myself into a situation that I shouldn't have.
This is a combat game. I look at arty as the ingame equivalent to the unknowns in combat. In an actual battle you can be snuffed out from any angle at anytime. To an extent our in game artillery replicates this.
To the folks that told the pro arty crowd to fuck off... I don't think you really meant it. I think you really just wanted a reason to say fuck without being edited on the new forum. Either way I respect all of you and look forward to open discussions without being slapped down for posting a Dave Chappelle pic!

Bert gets a pass because it's actually fun to play, doesn't usually hit for much damage, and needs to get much closer to danger than the other pigs. Then again, even pressing the battle button on it should be enough to make any tanker feel dirty. |
