Today, Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen passed away from non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at the age of 65.
He was also the owner of both the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks and the NBA’s Portland Trailblazers.
But most of all, for us, he was the one who funded the expeditions that located historic shipwrecks, such as the USS Juneau (of Sullivan Brothers’ fame), USS Lexington, and, most special of all, the USS Indianapolis.
Thank you for your contributions to the preservation of history, Mr. Allen. You will be missed.
